The atmosphere and service was phenomenal. I enjoyed the cultural music and vibe of the place. Unfortunately, I was hungry afterwards. For a $12 plate, I guess I prefer to be full. I think the food was authentic Mexican food. My mom and little sister live in Mexico. The food here tastes like the food out there whenever I go out to visit.

This little joint is way too good. I’ve been searching Salem for a good little place and I found it today. My picture is of their Gorditas, and they’re superb. 3 for $9 and I could barely finish them due to the great portions they serve. They’re so perfectly crisp and filled with meat of your choice, lettuce, sour cream, and cojita. Little pockets of flavor I’ll be getting regularly.
Try this place out, if you’re unsure, try the Gorditas with a meat of your choice, you won’t be disappointed. I got my 3 with different meat in each (I’m sure vegetable-only is an option). The horchata is also light and thirst quenching.
Also, they’re extremely friendly and accommodating, and their side sauces are outstanding.

This mexican food is great. I go there for the street tacos that are made with homemade tortillas. Service is really good, food is good. My only problem is I wish they stayed open longer. Seems like sometimes I am out north and drive by and wish they were open. I highly recommend this place.
