We only stayed in Aspen for one night and I’m so glad we chose Tavern! From start to finish, everything was perfect.
The food was absolutely delicious—full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Over at the bar, Jordan and Kellen mixed up some of the best drinks we’ve had in a long time.
Kellen and Jordan are highly recommended — they’re both so nice, attentive, and made the experience even better. Definitely the kind of people who make you feel welcome and taken care of.
And a special thank you to Ashley, the owner—she personally came over to check on us, helped out, and made sure our experience was unforgettable. It’s rare to see an owner so hands-on and genuinely caring.
Even though our time in Aspen was short, Tavern made it truly memorable. Highly recommend to anyone visiting!

I had an amazing experience at The Tavern Snowmass.
The food was outstanding, full of flavor and perfectly prepared, but what truly made the difference was the service.
I was there on trivia night, the restaurant was packed, and despite that, the staff kept the quality of service at a top level. The servers and the bartender bring such great energy — friendly, attentive, and genuinely focused on creating the best possible atmosphere.
It’s impressive to see a place perform so well even when it’s very busy. This is definitely a spot I’d highly recommend and absolutely come back to.

Fun place for families – kids menu, arcade games, foosball, and a pool table. Fathers can watch sports, kids play games and moms have a drink in peace 🙂
We brought my son’s friends here for his birthday and they had a good time.
The pub food is good and reasonably priced. $10 kids menu. The place is lively and laid back. Winter time it’s popular for apres ski.

Went here for lunch right as it opened. There was literally one server. Ordered our food and an hour later we are still waiting for it (although the nachos came out after 45 min). Ordered a coke and never got it (had to ask for it 30min later). The restaurant isn’t busy, not sure why it’s taking so long to cook the food or why the server is not attentive to any of the tables. Very disappointed. Also, it feels dingy and dirty and the bathroom was obviously not clean from the night before. Only gave two stars because the nachos were pretty tasty.

My chicken sandwich was great. Cool spot to watch sports after skiing Snowmass. My 5 year old daughter rejected the pepperoni pizza. But really really liked the French fries. Wings were B+/A-.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. We were in town for the Up in the Sky festival and went to grab a drink and a bite before and after the show – Kel and Travis were a DREAM! As a celiac, I felt very safe eating here and the “normal” chicks in my party were also so impressed! The service, the vibe, the prices. It was all so awesome! I mean look at this dang potatoe!

Friendly, personable, and incredibly skilled, he makes every guest feel like a regular. His cocktails are spot- on-whether you want something classic, a creative twist, or just a perfectly poured drink, he nails it every time.
On top of that, Oli has a knack for reading the room and elevating the whole experience. He’ll chat you up if you’re in the mood, give great local recommendations, or just make sure your glass never runs dry. The Tavern is a rare find and totally worth a stop everytime you are in Snowmass! Cheers!
