I LOVE finding little out of the way cafés and Flippys is a perfect example.
The service was wonderfully friendly and exuberant which we really enjoyed! The food hit the nail on the head for us this morning, extra points for really great coffee. I 100% recommend that you support small local cafes and turn away from chain restaurants and the like. Go visit Flippy’s, you will not regret it!

Intentionally neglected. Our waiter skipped over us serval times to clean tables and helped 2 other customers who never had to wait. Mind you, the place is not busy. Waited 45 mins and our waiter only acknowledged us twice and that was for drinks before we sat down. It’s sad that, that happened. We explained our frustrations with another waiter and she over heard the conversation and nothing. No sorry, no acknowledgement. It was purposely done.

I have gone to flippy’s for over 15 years and have never had an issue…until today. Their food is decent but not great. My husband tried to call in an order and was told on the phone,” we are busy so it will take a while” which would have been fine and understandable. But then after ordering a turkey club (which takes all of 2 minutes to put together since they use deli turkey meat) he was told, “we are to busy you should just try some place else”. For a small business you would think they would have better customer service for all customers but especially customers that have supported them for years. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO FLIPPY’S AGAIN AND NEITHER WILL MY FAMILY! So to the owner I hope that you realize that is no way to treat a customer, especially when the customer is willing to wait. When they are that busy they usually just don’t answer which is still not good business but at least it’s not as rude as telling someone that it may take a while and to just go someplace else! UPDATE : I called only 30 min later and they said they would take the order but after telling the woman who owns flippys, who was rude on the phone to begin with that what happened was not ok…she hung up on me. Again unprofessional and rude, can’t believe I ever supported such a horrible person/ buisness!

We’ve gone to Flippys 4 times. We walked inside and were not greeted at the door, the owner looked away from us despite us saying hello. We picked a table and waited for 20 minutes and nobody came to take our order and the servers refused to look in our direction. We left and, again, were met with silence. Not even acknowledging potential customers sets a negative precedent. We won’t be back.

My Husband and I, we’ve been going to Flippy’s for over 10 Years now. We love this restaurant, the owners and staff are kind. we go here for the breakfast but would like to try other food on the menu as well. We always leave full and happy. Love the ☕️ As well.

Delicious and affordable food. Can’t go wrong with a diner thats been there for more than 30 years. Especially in this time and age where its hard enough to find a place that still serves good food and hasn’t changed in years. I highly recommend coming to this place. I love how many customers are repeats and that they are on first name basis with the staff. And each staff knows the customers name. I love this place for that. I will definitely be back again.

This is a gem in the city of Rodeo. The owners are great; the food and coffee are amazingly delicious., I loved it. This place is full of nostalgia because it looks like it did in the 70’s-80’s. The small town feel makes the whole experience even better!

Great food at a good price. The atmosphere is comfy and the coffee is delicious. Highly recommend, especially if you’re a raiders or niners fan with all the memorabilia on the wall.
