I really want to love this place but the manager is horrendous. Everytime we come in and she is working she is rude, unapproachable and unfriendly. Not to mention the way she will snap at her bartenders in front of customers. They have one bartender in particular who wears glasses and she’s the sweetest most hard-working and we have heard the manager jump Her case about things on several different occasions. That bartender is the best one they have. The guy bartender is Awful at his job and always looks like he hates being there.
The owner is an absolute hot head who just goes off on people. Zero control of his emotions. It really sets a bad tone for a neighborhood bar. It’s really unfortunate that the owner and his manager girlfriend are ruining this place for so many people. Bartender with the glasses should get out of there and get a better job because she is awesome! We usually See her on the weekends.
I will say, though the food is good annd it hits every time.

Been going to this regularly for about 3 years now. Best bar in Lakewood, no doubt. Prices are fair, bartenders are great, and the cook is an absolute legend. Everything and anything that comes from that kitchen is absolutely delicious. I recommend this bar to anyone and everyone.

Not enough people to wait on you gotta stand in line forever. Owner’s girlfriend is snobby and the DJ they have is horrible now and they do people wrong as Halloween night. A lady was supposed to win the contest and they let the DJ pick the winner and he picked one of his Hoochie mamas and his wife in second place and that was wrong and the owners wouldn’t even do anything about it. We spent a lot of money in there. There’s a lot of people that stop going there no service at all oh, his girlfriend is a big snob

My friends showed me this bar that they frequently came to as regulars. The first time I came with them we sat down for maybe 5 minutes before one of the staff came up to us and demanded that we ordered or would be kicked out… mind you there was little to nobody here and we had just settled in.
The second time, which will be the last for me and my friends, I was there for probably about 2 minutes before they kicked one of our friends out for being “too high or drunk” when she hadn’t had a singular ounce of alcohol or drugs in her system. The bartender guy wouldn’t even look at her ID and immediately said she had to leave. We asked why and he said “too high or drunk or something I can’t serve her”. I tried to explain to him that she has a congenital eye condition which may be why he was assuming that she was intoxicated and that it was listed on her ID. He refused to even look and insisted she needed to leave. After trying to explain one more time he wasn’t even hearing me and said he wouldn’t even serve her water and that she wasn’t allowed on the premise so I left with her.
Only about 20 minutes later I receive a text from my friends saying that now they had been kicked out for leaving and entering the establishment multiple times. Mind you they walked us out and another friend out and that was all. They were being good friends making sure we got to our cars safe. This place just wants no customers I guess! DO NOT recommend.
The guy bartender has major rbf and looks and acts like he hates his job. The staff at the bar is NOT friendly and are just looking for profit (yet kick whoever they want out with no cause or reason)

My friends and I have been coming to Fanclub for couple months now and usually are the people that get people dancing. We usually always buy drinks and bring people. Tonight is the last night we will ever come back or even recommend this place to friends. When we first arrived, we immediately ordered a drink because they stated that we can’t just chill here we have to order a drink after just sitting down. We went up to the bar and the rude bartender guy looked at our friend ( Who has an eye condition) and said that she could not be in here because she’s already been drinking when hadn’t been drinking yet. She told the bartender that she was just showing her ID and wasn’t planning on ordering a drink yet. He insisted she leave. We followed after her outside to make sure she was okay. This upset us but we ending up staying for a little longer after our friend got kicked out. After some time , the energy was dead and our other friend was leaving to head home so, we as good friends walked her to her car. On our way back in the rude bartender that told us we couldn’t just chill here told us that we were not allowed back in because we had been coming in and out of the building…We were just being good friends… What a shame this place used be so good but turns out they enjoy when their parking lot is empty and it makes sense why it is!! Be careful they will discriminate you!!! Don’t worry you aren’t missing much the drinks aren’t even good and the bartender look like they hate their jobs! Save your money for people who like customers these people just want money!

The breaded chicken wings at Fan Club are straight fire! Perfectly seasoned and crispy every time. The music is always lit! Whether it’s the jukebox or a live DJ, the vibe is on point. Nice outdoor patio with good vibes, chill crowd, and great energy all around. They always have great drink selections. One of my go-to spots to kick back and enjoy! ️

First time here and the last time here. We were drinking top shelf tequila. I bought 4 Don Julio 1942. Which emptied the bottle the owner suggested San Matia reposado said it tasted just like 1942. Bought 2 shots and they were horrible. He told us he would take 20% off and he didn’t honor his word. When confronted he then retracted. After speaking to him he got aggravated . The girl who was bartending was very rude. Come to find out they are dating. Did not feel very appreciated by either one of them. After explaining how we felt that he retracted what he said, he then said you got to get the hell out of here and kick us all out. We spent $300 at this place in a couple hours. Will never return to this place ever again. I will make sure none of my friends go there either. Make sure to separate your checks if paying separately. I’ve never been to a bar where they charge a gratuity. When people come into bars they usually do come in large groups. Even though we were only a party of six. I thought that gratuity was more for restaurants.

This is a neighborhood bar that I’ve been going to for almost 20 years but just occasionally. It’s not my first preference. The food isn’t terrible but I am always disappointed with the service. If you want another drink within a reasonable amount of time, you have to go up to the bar. Don’t expect a server/bartender to come around very often. I’m also disappointed that they haven’t made any improvements over the years. It’s old, dingy, and dirty. The flooring in particular is gross. At times there also seems to be an unpleasant odor. The last time I visited a few weeks ago I also had an unpleasant experience with a female employee/manager. I have heard there’s a new owner. I hope they make improvements and it can be a place I enjoy going to again.
