Nice people but that’s about it.
Tried the fried seafood platter, it’s a sample of fish, scallops, calamari, oysters, and shrimp plus fries. Only took one bite of everything on the plate except the fries. The seafood was just cheap, that’s the best word to describe it. Over fried and just tasteless. It was only $13.95 so that should’ve been a clue, I’d rather pay double that for some decent seafood.
It’s definitely not for me.
The live stuff might be good, a lot of people came in for that and for crabs but I’m not into that.
Give them a try and judge for yourself.

We came here for fried crabs. I would return for their fried shrimp. The crabs were tiny. Overall, great experience. Customers were constantly coming in & out so evidently they have lots of loyal customers.

Comparing to other fried crab spots in the area- first, they are clean inside! Immediately I am comparing to Ts seafood and a few others that are kinda scary inside!
No dirty floors, walls or ceilings. The fried crabs were delicious – fried with perfect amount of batter not over done- not super oily and flavored so well- tiny bit of spice. The crabs themselves were meaty and fresh!
The ladies in the front were pleasant and kind. I will be going back. Even my son who doesn’t usually eat these really enjoyed!!!!

Brought 2 lunch dinners on Jan. 26th, they were both delicious. I ordered the fried catfish and coleslaw and French fries. FANTASTIC!!!!! My daughter ordered the fried shrimp with broccoli and French fries.I Ordered first and came back to pick up my order, they were waiting for me and they were hot and packaged beautifully. I will return again and I hope you will try it soon.

Assessment
1. The fish were small, wasn’t seasoned & fried to hard.
2. The shrimp was more of a popcorn shrimp, okay, but WILL NOT order again.
3. The French fries were fried too hard and very greasy.
4. The corn was tasteless. Sweet should be immediately removed from the description on the menu.
5. The restaurant appears clean. The owners were not welcoming nor rude.
If I could rate this place, it would be a negative 1.

It appears that my expectations were not met during my recent dining experience. Upon ordering 14 shrimp and 8 oysters, I was surprised to receive shrimp that seemed more suitable for a shrimp fried rice dish rather than a separate entree. Additionally, the excessive greasiness of the food and the small size of the crabs, which were priced at $37 for a dozen, were disappointing. Regrettably, I will not be returning to this establishment.

After a long flight, we found this gem just five minutes away from the airport, and I can honestly say it was the best seafood we had in Virginia! The place was very popular, and we could see why as people continued to come in and place orders. The seasoning on the seafood was perfect, and their hush puppies were absolutely amazing—we had to order extra! If you’re in the area, you definitely must give this place a try!

The parking lot smelled delicious so that was a good sign. When we walked in the place was much smaller than I expected. We ordered 2 combination steam bag with garlic butter seasoning medium spicy ️ ️. They included 2 snow crab clusters, 12 shrimp deveined with no head, potatoes, and corn. The crab was fresh and perfectly cooked. The garlic butter seasoning was a little creamy but it was absolutely finger licking good! I definitely recommend this! We also ordered a side of fried rice which was very flavorful and some Cajun wings. Now, I did expect something a little different coming from Texas, the wings reminded me more of a Chinese chicken wing which were also delicious and slightly battered and crispy. They did not have the Cajun taste that I am used to but if you like wings, you can’t go wrong! Overall the food was delicious and the people were attentive. Delicious food and a great value!

Love this restaurant! Clean, fresh, and fast service! Choices of blue crab are great and can even buy them live! Great price for amount of food too! Only seafood corner spot I like this far!
