I stopped here on my drive from Largo to Orlando, just a few minutes off I-4, and it was a super convenient roadside taco stop. It’s a simple food truck setup with outdoor bench seating and plenty of parking. When I went, it was quiet and easy in and out.
One thing that surprised me was that there weren’t any prices posted, and they didn’t have a printed menu with prices. Not a huge issue, just something I’m not used to.
I ordered three chicken tacos on corn tortillas (about $2.80 each). They came with cilantro, onion, lime, and a mild green sauce. The tacos were good and came out fast — about 7 minutes even with other orders ahead of me. The chicken was decent, but overall the flavor felt a little light compared to some other taco spots I’ve tried. The corn tortillas were slightly dry, but that may just be part of the style.
Overall, it was a quick, filling stop and reasonably priced. Not the best tacos I’ve ever had, but solid for a roadside bite.

I tried the tortoise and it was pretty darn good! There are two food trucks in this location. One of them doing tacos enchiladas tortoise and that kind of stuff. Another one doing some different fruit and fruit juices. It’s a cool little location. They have a nice tent covering with a couple picnic tables. The atmosphere could be worked on a little bit. Maybe a small building in the future and this place would be a pretty sweet little joint. If you’re in the area I would definitely give it a try.

Super Important: it is cash only.
That aside, this place has some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. If you’re even considering it, just do it because you absolutely will not regret it. We got 2 empanadas, 2 gorditas, a chicken quesadilla and a mangonada. I have no words to describe how amazing it smelled and how delicious it tasted.

Steak Tacos were not steak, they were ground beef. Al pastor tacos were also grounded pork and had no flavor. The only taco that was good was the Carnitas taco. I ordered 2 of each and they only gave me 1 Carnitas, 1 Al Pastor, 2 “Steak Asada”. Highly dissatisfied and disappointed because they’re not selling what they’re advertising, unfortunately. Green sauce is watered down. Packaging in a Harbor Freight bag.

Great spot for $2.50 Barbacoa carne asada pastor & carnitas Mexican street tacos and house made green and red hot sauce. Good for take away but not for dining. Atmosphere is not great. This is a food truck w outdoor shaded seating and plenty of parking but no indoor dining or AC.

This is a food truck in a parking lot = why I give the atmosphere 1 star. But definitely worth the stop for the FOOD and service! We had the shredded beef tacos ( she gave us extra ones!) and the carnitas tacos. Both were so good! Authentic with onions and cilantro with a side of lime.
