The counter service was friendly and helpful. The milanesa was tender. Tortas were so big, we had to take half home, definitely shareable! Salsas (Chiles) were very flavorful and just the right amount of spicy/picoso! Free chips and salsa. Chips were perfect. Options for bottled soda and Jarritos. We used to live in Chicago and love good food, and we 10/10 recommend this restaurant!

Family friendly, bigger than it looks and decent portion size. I give it a strong 3 because the prices are not clear and some of the prices are high. The tacos are most popular and i can understand why because they are 1.75$ each. Over all yes it was a good choice and would go again because 1) I love Mexican food and 2) its one of a few Mexican restaurants that offer tradition Mexican food items.

Attended a business event there and had the opportunity to try a variety of comfort food items. They were all very authentic and delicious, especially the homemade chorizo, and also the lengua tacos.

Food looks better than it tastes. I went for the first time today and tried a variety of items. I ordered an order of nachos with ground beef, one steak taco, one pastor taco, and one chorizo taco. The ground beef was very bland, the pastor was hardly seasoned, there was some steak pieces that were very flavorful and others that literally tasted like nothing. All of these meats were drowned out by the flavor or onion and cilantro. As for the chorizo, it was the mildest I have ever had. Usually chorizo has a good kick to it, but this one missed the mark for me.
The chips were good, but they were extremely oily and rather cold. Not this is a huge deal, I still ate them. Perhaps I went on an off day, but I do not foresee going back or ranting high praises of my experience. One note to those who have not been there, order ahead of time if you are going at lunch hour. I waited 10 minutes to order, and 30 minutes for my food.

Best Mexican food in Peoria! I got the chips and green salsa, steak tacos dinner and Victoria beer. I highly recommend it. The staff was friendly and helpful. The interior looks like a classic Mexican joint. All around excellent visit, cant wait to go back!
