Very disappointed to see the decline of one of our family favorites in Houston. We have frequented Adair since opening and have noticed in the past 6 months the portion sizes have shrunken significantly. Tonight I had my favorite, pecan crusted chicken, and the chicken breast I was served was smaller than my son’s kid hamburger. It was about a third of the size it used to be when they first opened. A couple of weekends ago, I had the “chicken shawarma” which was basically two small pieces of shredded rotisserie chicken and a bunch of fries wrapped in a flour tortilla. This evening, when I asked the waiter about the small portion size, he said he’d ask the manager. The manager never came over to check in on us. Very disappointing. Will not be back.

The food was decent. I had the Farmers Market Skillet and that was good, however, I also had a juice and while I was expecting a freshly made juice served in a glass, the juices were already made and were sold from a grab-and-go kiosk which kinda ruined my expectations.

Had brunch today with my husband here. The ambiance was incredible as soon as you walk in. The front staff that took our order were so sweet and kind. Our food came out so quick AND it was fresh and very delicious.

I had a wonderful experience at Adair Kitchen! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the menu has so many great options — everything looks fresh and thoughtfully prepared.
I especially want to recognize T. She is absolutely outstanding. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the products and menu, patient, professional, and truly goes above and beyond to provide exceptional service. Any business would be lucky to have a team member like her. She made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable.

Adair Kitchen is a casual restaurant where you order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. The food was good, but certainly not exceptional. I had a latte and the Gemelli Pasta, which tasted fine overall, but was a little dry and the fennel was tough and tasteless. There were nine of us and some ordered off the breakfast menu and others ordered off the lunch menu. Prices are reasonable.. Everyone seems to have enjoyed their meal. The service was slow and random, I received my pasta long before my latte, one person received her meal in four different parts. The atmosphere was pleasant, the restaurant is light and clean, it was not crowded or noisy. Being New Year’s Day, they may have had staffing issues. I would go back if invited by a friend, but would not choose it on my own.

Had a horrible experience. Was served a pork banh mi with two slabs of pork fat. (See pic) Went for Houston Restaurant weeks and ordered of that menu. Received delicious Mac and cheese starter but my guests starter of tortilla soup was not delivered at the same time and after 5 minutes we had to ask for it. Restaurant was like a romper room with noisy children everywhere.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. mediocre food, the staff kept forgetting our drinks and then promised to make them, served us with dirty silverware and acted like it was the biggest deal in the world to get us clean silverware, gave us wilted greens, and finally the atmosphere was full of screaming unattended kids. All in all, a pretty awful brunch experience, I was so disappointed because I was excited to take my husband to a fun local spot we live by but we won’t be returning.

Great menu and delicious teas. Started with a “beginning” of Mac n Cheese. Incredible! Shell mac with light cheese sauce sprinkled with cheddar and served in a hot , cast iron skillet. Nice presentation. I then tried the lavendar, bergamot tea but had them ice it for me. Wow. Finally a lavendar tea that actually tastes like lavendar! The BLT was good but short on bacon . The chips were homemade. They were this, crispy and tasty. All in all a place to return too.

This place was so nice and so clean. I had read some reviews saying that the music was incredibly loud and things were generally subpar, but I have to say that the volume of the music, the cleanliness of the place, and the food overall was very nice. My only critique would be that the soup was not at all warm enough. And I’ve waited a long time to have that lemon artichoke soup again(thanks covid) the manager seems like a very nice guy and was able to grab something we needed without any attitude. There is very nice seating outside, overall this is like a lovely place to grab lunch with a girlfriend. Probably a quick place to get in and out if you had to grab lunch for yourself while working. And I’m going to inquire as to baby shower or bridal shower because they seem to have an upstairs area that looked very nice for those type of events. But don’t quote me on that
