My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary dinner. The restaurant looks upscale, they have romantic dimmed lighting, and they put adorable little candle flowers at the table! The vegetable minestrone soup was delicious, my bf regretted not getting the bowl size! He had Gnocchi Lamb Ragu and LOVED it. I had the bolognese and thought it was good. The chocolate cake was delicious, and he liked his apple strudel. We will definitely be back!

Very nice restaurant with beautiful warm decorations inside. Perfect for a little date. Pasta was amazing- nothing like what I had before somewhere else and very tasteful. I had tomato tagliatelle pasta. I recommend it to anyone

We were scheduled to have our rehearsal dinner tasting at Scossa for our wedding, and the experience was so unprofessional that we ultimately canceled our event entirely.

We emailed Scossa on December 5, 2025 with all of the menu selections we wanted to taste for our rehearsal dinner. They acknowledged receipt of that email, so we reasonably believed everything was set. Our tasting was scheduled for January 13, 2026 at 6:00 PM for four people, which had been clearly communicated in writing — meaning they had more than a month to review, confirm, and prepare.

Despite this, the day before our tasting we received a reservation reminder that was completely wrong: it listed two people at 4:00 PM. That alone showed that our event was not being handled with care or attention.

Then, one hour before our 6:00 PM tasting, Talley called us at 5:00 PM saying we had “never submitted our selections” and that the chef needed instructions. I immediately re-forwarded the original email proving that we had sent everything weeks earlier.

When we arrived, we were told that the 6oz Beef Tenderloin Alla Rossini — the most important and most expensive dish we were considering for our rehearsal dinner — was not available and had not been prepared. This was a paid tasting, not a complimentary one, so there was no excuse for this level of unpreparedness.

To make matters worse, we had driven two hours to get there, only to be met with indifference and disorganization. Talley offered no apology, no accountability, and no meaningful solution. Her only suggestion was that we could taste the sauce from the dish, which is unacceptable when you are choosing a main entrée for a wedding event.

Every detail was wrong. Every step was mishandled. And if Scossa couldn’t get a tasting right — with months of notice — we had no confidence they could execute our actual rehearsal dinner. We left feeling disrespected and deeply disappointed, and we canceled our event.

This was not just bad service — it was a complete failure of professionalism.

We always love dining at Scossa, but are writing to review their event space and catering. We recently held a wedding rehearsal dinner PLUS welcome party in their lovely back room. From planning to execution, things couldn’t have gone more smoothly! Delicious menu, reasonable pricing, caring and involved staff and ownership and flexible space to accommodate almost fifty seated guests and dozens more for the meet and feet at the bar, complete with transition to heavy apps and dessert buffet. Kudos and many thanks to our friends at Scossa – highly recommended!

Went as a couple on a not so busy Sunday night. We were met warmly and seated promptly with good service throughout. Food selection on the menu was great- many entrees to select from . Food came out piping hot . We were very pleased – would recommend and go again!

Kendell and the entire team was amazing! Food, atmosphere, and staff was perfect. It was the perfect place for a date night out without the little one.

Waiter was absolutely fantastic. We mentioned the type of wine we like and he brought out two samples, both of which fit our taste.

Personally, I had a hard time finding something on the menu to eat because the menu on their website was not the same menu served. The menu served had quite a few items with veal in them, which I do not eat. I already had my entree picked based on their website’s menu, but ended up with the risotto with butternut squash and shrimp. I’m not a fan of butternut squash but chose this risotto because the other one had something I would not eat and I can’t remember what it is right now. However, my friend enjoyed the shrimp in the curry sauce with rice.

Dessert was delicious. I had the lemon sorbet and my friend had the peach sorbet.

This was only my second time at Scossa, and I will return.

Interesting menu. Had squid ink pasta with lobster. Unfortunately lobster was way overcooked and rubbery. Pleasant staff, nice location. I would try again.

Very good place to eat. A bit pricey but good sized portions. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Calamari was a little overcooked but still delicious, we got a steak and didn’t care for the taste (cooked perfect, didn’t care for the style of cooking on it) and they replaced it with something different without a complaint. I will absolutely go back and would recommend this place to anyone who wants to sit and enjoy a meal. FYI the pasta and lobster was perfection and the chocolate pie was to die for.
