My wife and I visited Rapadou Caribbean Restaurant today while we were in Pennsylvania, and we were truly impressed. The restaurant is very spacious, clean, and welcoming. The owner was down-to-earth and genuinely kind, which made the experience even better.
My wife ordered white rice with gravy beans, and légumes, and I ordered rice with goat. Everything was absolutely delicious, flavorful, and served in generous portions—more than we could finish! The food tasted fresh and authentic, and you can tell it’s made with care.
We really enjoyed our visit and would definitely love to come back again.

Food is bangin‘! West York is lucky to have this restaurant. The owner has a revitalizing mentality that is fun to be around.
I got a variety of dishes. Each has a reasonable portion size, with some extra lovin’s stuffed in each. Sides are NOT skimped on.
The quality and extra lovin’s made me feel like a family-friend to the business, despite being a first-time visitor. Highly recommend.

The food is alright. But everytime I order I get the wrong food or sides are missing. It’s infuriating. This restaurant has potential but I can’t keep ordering from a place who doesn’t pay attention to my order. Overprice food and not getting the right order is not a good combination. It’s sad that I can’t keep supporting a fellow Haitian.

Visited York on a weekday trip and dined in with family and friends. The food was really good. I had legume with rice and beans, which were excellent. I also tried the griyo (fried pork chunks) and baked fish. Both were really good. The portions were large and price reasonable. The gentleman who served us was very friendly and even recommended a local Haitian market. We all agreed that we will come back to York even if it’s just to eat here again.

We just went today for the first time it was really good!!! I never heard of it just randomly searched on google and it exceeded my expectations. We did take out but you can definitely sit in and eat too. The Portions were big & it was delicious.

I come here always every week. If the guy (manager) is not there. The other employees raise the price on the same thing I buy every week. They are not consistent with their prices. Then they were 30 minutes late with my food, even though I ordered 30 minutes in advance and they tools me it works take 15mins to be done. I drive from Harrisburg after ordering my food. It was a 36 minute drive. When I get there, they said they were going to start to make the food. The food was not cooked will. Save your time and money. I’ve come here for over 9 months and it’s getting worse and worse. I kept giving them a chance because I’m Haitian like they are but they don’t care about the customers. Don’t buy from here

First of all when we called to order they had an attitude the whole time . They are overpriced and the food plus the portions are not good at all. I was excited to try haitian food but this place made me not want to go back for seconds .

This place is long overdue in York, PA! Absolutely hands-down the best. Food is amazing and the people treat you like family. They make each order hot and fresh and each bite tastes as if you’ve been transported directly to the Caribbean. Keep up the good work!

First of it’s ridiculous that I was given the opposite of what I paid for and when I told them , I waited another 15 mns for it to be done just for them to give me the wrong thing again because they didn’t have what I paid for. The individual serving didn’t have the courtesy of offering a genuine apology for wasting 30mns of my time and my money instead kept smiling as if the situation was funny.
