The Chicken Fried Steak was not steak but a processed meat patty which was then fried either in stale, over-used oil or was just greasy.
A lot of the locals seemed to favor the Mexican dishes and that could have been my fault for choosing the American side of the menu. Regardless it should have been decent meal and it wasn’t. The atmosphere was tiny Cafe style and pleasant enough but will likely not go back voluntarily.

Just perfect, the simple place as it’s been for a long time — food is pretty good, service is impeccable , experience was super nostalgic. I should have had the chili but the tamale was good, too
