Reviews
The pizza is top tier! Super thin crispy crust (think almost as thin as a tortilla), the dough is oiled and mildly salted, and delicious on its own. But it gets better…. The sauce. OMG. Whatever they put in their pizza sauce is addictive. It’s savory, tangy, zesty and dense with flavor. The cheese is a perfect blend of whatever they use and also seasoned well. The crust is super crispy and crunchy on the edges BUT mostly soft on the interior so you get that nice fold if you like that. Because the crust is so thin the ratio of toppings, sauce and cheese to crust is probably 3:1. This is how it should be!
This instantly became my favorite pizza in Atlanta!
Now for the wings. The wings are on the meatier side and big (but NOT jumbo size). For me this is the perfect size, some wings in atlanta are really small and others are too big (pumped full of steroids), not here. These wings are the perfect size.
The wings are cooked perfectly as well: super crispy skin (even with the sauce in) while still juicy and meaty on the inside. I had mine lemon pepper hot which was great. I’ll have to come back to try lemon pepper only or hot only.
I have nothing negative to say about this place. I ended up here on accident, had zero expectations, but honestly my mind was blown.
Folks, I can vouch for ONE DISH and ONE DISH ONLY at this place because that’s the ONLY dish I’ve ever tried and that’s what my 5 star review is solely based on.
But I DEFY you find better lasagna for the price ANYWHERE in Atlanta. For only 12 bucks you get the cheesiest,.most authentically-tasting pasta dish ever….complimented with a slice of garlic bread to die for.
It’s not the largest serving ever but it will fill you up when combined with the bread. And unlike other places they don’t drown it in marinara sauce. It’s a perfect ratio of noodles to sauce but the best part is the cheese, omg the cheese!!!
I did try their wings once tho. Overcooked like you find in most places so i definitely wouldn’t recommend it.
We sampled the wings as well, very good for a pizza place (fried, not baked, with a crispy skin and no breading).
Unfortunately a lack of attention to detail is what brings this place down a bit. We asked for 4 different beers before we found some from their list which they actually had. All of the fountain drinks are flat and gross. Iced tea is old and gross tasting. For some reason it feels like they ration ice, as you may get as many as 3 cubes in your drink (maybe they are European and don’t like ice in drinks?). The beer was also stale tasting, making me wonder about their drink lines.
All in all, they have great deals for lunch and the food is good. Get take out or stop by on a weekday lunch, bit if you’re looking for a great dinner/weekend spot, this is just OK.
Great selection of IPAs, as well.
