If you are looking for a higher quality Chinese restaurant this is the place. Prices are higher, but the quality of meats are fully represented. They also have a Korean Menu if you ask and their dishes are amazing. Highly recommend this place if you want top tier food.

I’ve lived in town for a long time & never heard of Sichuan Garden. Discovered this place by chance (happened to be in the neighborhood) & I’m so glad I did! The food was exquisite. The pork egg rolls are perfect- deliciously crunchy on the outside & flavorful on the inside. Everything I tried was amazing, the employees were very helpful & friendly, & the restaurant is cute (they have a fish tank and pretty decor). Can’t wait to try more dishes here!

This restaurant is a head above others in Louisville, but not pricey. We especially enjoyed the Sichuan string beans. The interior has kind of nostalgic Chinese restaurant feel. We’ll be coming back and will be recommending this restaurant in particular. I wonder if the owner would consider adding other Sichuan classics like Cumin Lamb or Sichuan boiled fish to the menu?

We discovered this place while traveling. The place is quiet and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. I worked in a Chinese restaurant for four years in the 70s, and this place has the best wonton soup when compared to others. The food arrives hot and fresh with the vegetables crisp and not overcooked.

Probably the best Chinese Restaurant we have been to in Louisville. We had pot stickers and egg rolls for appetizers and the egg rolls were perfection. The pot stickers were good too but the egg rolls were on another level.

For entree we got veggie lo mein, pork and chicken fried rice, sichuan beef and shrimp, and Lemon Chicken. All excellent. The lo mein was seasoned perfectly, loaded with veggies. The fried rice was well balanced and had great flavor. Our mains were phenomenal.

Service was attentive and friendly.

One of the best experiences we have had in a while and we will definitely be back.

Nice looking restaurant and decor. Waitress was friendly and provided good service. The wonton soup was hot and tasty. It was just a tad bit over salted. I ordered the Moo Goo Shrimp. It was a nicely flavored entree. This is a nice restaurant for a nice quiet to meal.

The best tofu dish ever! Sorry I can’t remember but it was silken, not breaded or fried. Enjoyed with friends when back in Louisville for holidays.

I am so glad we were in the area and found this gem! This must be ran by the owners because it was staffed by the nicest people you’ll ever meet. They were very welcoming, helpful, attentive, and easy to talk with.
And the food!! Oh my- we have eaten at a lot of Asian style restaurants but this was one of the very best if not the best ever! It was not the exact copy of every other Asian place but clearly had their own recipes. We ordered the Honey Chicken and the Empress Chicken. The gentleman who took our order even asked us what level of spicy we wanted the Empress Chicken. It was incredible! They both included white or fried rice and each of these dishes were about $14. Worth it! The honey chicken was amazing but it is very sugary -but in the best of ways- so if you don’t love really sugary things this might be the one to pass on for you but I look forward to taking my kids there because they are going to love it.

The ambiance was quite nice too. The only problem is it’s a little tricky to find. It’s in a shopping center but the entrance is set back so you have to walk down a wide open walkway between other businesses. We missed it the first pass and had to turn back around to find it. It’s by Vallarta Mexican restaurant so if you see that you are in the right place.

Great atmosphere and decor. It’s a little hidden but a find that’s worth it. The lo mein was a bit on the sweet side. Awesome house made egg rolls.

Our first time to the Sichuan Garden and everyone was pleased. The Szechuan chicken was great! And so was the beef and broccoli and the staff was friendly
