The atmosphere of this place was inviting, making it a pleasant spot. The restaurant was clean, with a modern and updated aesthetic that immediately caught my eye. The staff greeted us warmly, adding to the overall positive vibe of the restaurant. The menu was extensive, offering a wide variety of options, although it did appear a bit cluttered at first glance.
After a bit, we placed our order, and I was pleasantly surprised when our food arrived exactly as the staff had promised, hot and within the expected timeframe. Everything seemed to be in order; there was nothing about our experience that raised any concerns at that moment.
As we were wrapping up our meal, I couldn’t help but notice that we were the only customers in the place at around twelve-thirty in the afternoon. This made me curious about why the restaurant was so quiet, especially given the quality of our meal. Just then, two men walked in looking somewhat anxious, asking for the check from the owner. However, it quickly became apparent that the owner was not there to assist them, so they left empty-handed, which struck me as odd.
The atmosphere began to shift slightly when a delivery arrived through the back entrance, prompting some conversation among the staff that seemed a bit tense. I could feel the mood changing as the delivery guy exited. Then, suddenly, a man burst through the front door, yelling animatedly as he demanded to speak with the owner. He accused the staff of disrespecting someone, and the situation escalated. Shouts echoed back and forth, creating an uncomfortable tension in the air.
Feeling increasingly uneasy, we decided it was best to leave. With the commotion intensifying, I couldn’t shake the feeling that something wasn’t right. Although I enjoyed the food and the initial ambiance, I found myself questioning whether I would return to this place in the future, as the sudden turn of events left a lingering sense of unease.

My boyfriend is a wing snob and says that this place has the best wings around. We’ve gone back five times now.
We ordered food online for pickup. In the comments we put a request for them to toss the chicken tenders in the sauce and we weren’t sure if that would work because it isn’t an option on the menu, but when we picked them up they were tossed in the sauce! Safe to say this place will go above and beyond to satisfy the customer.
Also, all of the sauces are AMAZING.

I picked my food up with an expectation of a proper, well-prepared meal. The food arrived unfinished and extremely dry. The wings lacked moisture and flavor, and the chips had a cardboard-like texture, suggesting they were either overcooked or left sitting too long before delivery. For the price charged, the quality was not acceptable.The portion and preparation did not justify the cost, especially considering the food did not feel freshly made. I hope the restaurant improves its quality for online orders, because the food did not meet the standard that I would reasonably expect at this price.

So glad I found an alternative to BWW. Chicken was great and so are the sauces. Together this makes for great wings. Onion rings were good but nothing special. Cajun fries were pretty good; I’d definitely get them next time. Pop machine was broken so our only option was bottled drinks. Sort of expensive but eating out is nowadays after Covid. I’ll definitely be going back.

Wings and Chips in St. Charles is simply an immaculate wing spot located in the western suburbs of Chicagoland area. Firstly want to mention the service here, staff and the owner were truly amazing. They really gave a great breakdown of the flavors and provided top notch service and suggestions for wing flavors, as someone who’s never been here before. The wings (bone and boneless) and food here is Halal – which is great added bonus too for anyone with such dietary restrictions! The wings were cooked to perfection with amazing ranges of flavors from sweet to spicy offered. Try out the BOOM BOOM wing flavor it was too good. If in the area, give them a visit!

First off, service is great! My family and I have been here twice. First time, we met the owner, he greeted us so well, took his time to explain everything to us and made ordering easy my flipping things around for us.
Second time, we were greeted by another man, who was so understanding when I brought in coupons. He made it easy for us to order and accommodated us.
Now to the food, such flavorful flavors! I typically get spicy buffalo everywhere where I go and I liked it here too. Owner recommended trying boom boom and I went back for it! It’s a must try flavor! So unique!
I also tried the taro coconut bubble tea, it was delicious! Good taste and consistency, boba’s were just on the smaller side, but no big deal to me!
Such a halal gem in St.Charles! They also have a cute free lollipop stand for kids!
Update: during our 4th visit, we tried the flavor lemon pepper…that is now our go to flavor! So crispy and flavorful!

Great place open late, nice to add a chicken and wing place to hit after the movies.
Chicken sandwiches are good size, fries are good but expensive for the size. Prices are pretty standard compared to the surrounding restaurants.
Wings are good, can’t wait for .65 wing day.

Wife and I ordered take out. Food was sitting out getting cold.
We ordered two Nashville chicken sandwiches, two fries. Cost us $37 dollars.
The Nashville Chicken Sandwiches were sad. No pickles even though it says there were pickles. The sauce amount was a small splash. The chicken patty was very thin and dry. The Swiss cheese was a small slice of cheese. McDonald’s is better.
Place seemed nice inside but I didn’t stick around to find out. The front entrance with a lack of a cashier made the place seem closed. Cashier was pleasant though.

The value of 20 wings for 20$ is exceptional, and the onion rings were delicious, but the wings weren’t very good at all. The skin was not crispy. The theme of the meal was everything being unnecessarily acidic. The mild buffalo wing sauce is too acidic and not in the traditional vinegar hot sauce way you might expect. The garlic parm sauce was thin, completely absent of any Parmesan, and possibly lemony? The lemon pepper wings were the best of the 3 flavors I tried but again very acidic and far more lemony than any other lemon pepper wing I’ve ever tried before. Lastly the blue cheese dressing was almost sour and very tangy. I ended up using a different blue cheese dressing from my fridge to finish the meal. I understand all of these things
If the owner revised the frying temps or cook times to get a crispier skin, and the sauce recipes to add a bit more salt and less acid, they would really have something going here.

Best Wings in the area hands down. The proof is in the photos, just look! I’ve ordered takeout from here 5 Sundays in a row. I rarely leave reviews, but Wings and Chips surely deserves 5 stars.
Some advice for future or current customers.
1.) Hot BBQ is the best wing flavor
2,) The Waffle Fries are my favorite fry option
3.) The Fried Chicken is the MOST underrated menu item!! Seriously, my favorite fried chicken I’ve ever had and seasoned very well.
Every time I go the Owner is also working. I appreciate someone who is on site as it shows they care about the food, service & reputation.
Just give it a try & you will not be disappointed!!
