PaPa Chuy in Mannford, adjacent to Lake Keystone has been serving the Lake area for well over 20 years. We renamed Vallartas Mexican Restaurant after our father who we call PaPa Chuy. He still comes into the family owned and operated family restaurant from time to time. We offer freshly made Mexican Food, we even cook our own chips every day. We have tables for small up to large groups as we have a back room that can serve quite the crowd. Although we are a family restaurant, we do offer a full service bar and Cantina that is well stocked with a large selection of American and Mexican drinks and beers. We offer online ordering as well. Come see us.

Besides that- I’m sorry, the food was terrible. Small portions. Weird watery food. Lacked flavor.
Rice was just awful. Beans were from powder form, that’s fine too, but they were so runny and had what I think was onion powder globbed in there that gagged me.
Queso was runny. Even the chips were burnt. Tamales were lackluster. Had frozen ones better from the store. Schz A
We’ve been in this town a year and just tried Papa Chuys for the first time this evening. $40 later- still hungry for REAL (not frozen!!!) Food. !!! If you want better Mexican food try El Molcajete in Cleveland or El Maguey in Sand Springs. I haven’t tried the other in mannford. But goodness!!! I can make better Mexican food just upset about the waste of money for some of the poorest quality food we’ve eaten in a long time. We rarely eat out. So this was a true shame.
Other people came in after us and got their orders. The restaurant was not busy.
2022 – Lots of pluses, a few minuses. Clean, well decorated. Friendly & efficient staff. Beef fajitas well seasoned, chewy but cut in skinny strips. Refried beans oversalted. Good Mexican rice. Did not like guacamole – way too much cilantro. Smooth salsa. Great prices for lunch – tip & all less than $20 for 2.
Came back for taco Tuesday and it was awesome! Full taco shells soft and hard. Great salsa for sure. This might be my taco Tuesday spot. Queso cheese is worth it. Waitress was awesome again.
I should have known, every landscape crew within 20 miles is here.
I had a lunch special, two enchiladas, rice, and beans with a choice of cheese, chicken, or ground beef.
And choice of sauces, had the white cheese sauce on the chicken and what they call simply “gravy” on the ground beef. Turns out, gravy here is a very flavorful red chile sauce.
They both were loaded with meat, rice and beans were spot on.
