The food here is absolutely delicious; every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is also very comfortable and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. Overall, the quality of the food was truly impressive.
However, the only downside to my experience was the service. The girl who was attending our table seemed like she didn’t want to be there at all. She never said “thank you,” didn’t check in to ask how everything was, and had a very indifferent attitude the entire time. It felt unwelcoming and definitely affected the overall experience. Good customer service is a big part of enjoying a meal out, and unfortunately, that part was missing.
I would recommend the restaurant for the food and ambiance, but I hope they work on improving the service.

We came here on recommendations of our driver and were not disappointed. Food was delicious! I had the pork belly and it was crispy. I loved the sides served with it and it was a great value. Lots of food and I had enough to take home and eat the next day. My boyfriend got the beef soup which he loved. It was nice to support a local business in AC and way more affordable than most places. Customer service was fast and great. The menu was in Spanish and English which was a plus. Can’t wait to return!

We ordered chicken & beef empanadas for appetizers, fried fish & fried chicken for main. Food was really delicious and the server treated us like we were home! She was super nice! 5 star for sure! We will definitely be back! Thank Ricón Catracho!!

Love eating at Rincon Catracho. The food is always so so good! Its my favorite restaurant to eat the most authentic honduran food. The service is top notch. They are always very welcoming & make you feel at home. Highly recommend having some baleadas & pollo con tajadas my favorite.

Friendly staff but the place looks like it’s ran by a bunch of teenagers. The girls were always touching their hair which is such a turnoff. They were just sitting around not doing much while people waited for their drinks and were waiting to order. But the food was good. The only problem was the steak looked so so dry. I recommend asking for a table outside since the tables inside are so close together it’s like you’re on top of one another.

Unfortunately, our experience here was very disappointing. When we arrived, the restaurant was not busy, yet no one greeted or seated us until we asked. Throughout the visit, customer service was lacking—we had to ask to place our order, follow up on drinks, and check on our food. A simple acknowledgment like “I’ll be right with you” would have made a big difference, but instead it felt as though we were being overlooked.
The wait for our meals was close to an hour, and drinks took a long time to arrive as well. The restaurant itself also appeared unclean and in need of a thorough deep cleaning, which did not make for a comfortable dining atmosphere.
To make matters worse, a 20% gratuity was automatically added to our bill without any prior notice. I don’t mind tipping—in fact, I feel it’s important to recognize good service—but in this case, with such poor customer service, it felt unnecessary and unwarranted.
Overall, the food was not worth the long wait, and the service and environment made the visit unpleasant. I would not recommend this restaurant unless significant improvements are made in both cleanliness and customer service.

El Rincón Catracho is a small restaurant where you can dine in and order out with great food but it does take about 40 minutes to an hour to receive your food. I came with a group of four and we ordered three orders of fried chicken with plantains and one order of fried fish that’s in the images below. There’s always a lot of movement with customers coming in and out to dine in and pick up their phone orders. It’s definitely a place I recommend for great Honduran cuisine but the atmosphere might not be for everyone. Take a look if your here in Atlantic City as you and your group won’t be disappointed!
