Feels like you’re in a NY loft bar and privileged to have the only rooftop view of south Orange County. Bartenders are top notch and make you feel welcome. Food is well planned with a cultured menu emphasizing the Asian diversity of the area. I cannot get enough of the calamari and the Spectrum Sunset cocktail. Also, a lovely hostess named Sasha greets you upon arrival which just sets the mood.

My wife made reservations for a Saturday night and was advised that we would have a 90 minute time limit. Once we arrived to the Marriot hotel, they only offered valet parking service. Be prepared to wait 15-20 minutes due to the influx of cars and the cost is $18.00 for 3 hours with validation. Once inside we made our way across the lobby to the elevator. The rooftop bar offers a nice view and I would recommend taking a pair of sunglasses and a jacket. The food portions are quite small, but the mixed drinks are great! Our server Antonio was on point and the entire staff is hospitable. They had a good music selection being played as we sipped on our alcoholic beverages and enjoyed the California sunset.

The New Years party was a disaster. They moved it from rooftop to a ball room which is understandable due to weather, but they did no decorating at all except for a couple of balloons laying around on the floor here and there. They used the outdoor furniture which was all stained and gross. The venue overall was pathetic. The food and music were worse. We only received 70% of the food we ordered but it was so bad and so cold that we just didn’t ask for the rest. The music the DJ was playing was all over the place and meh, but what made it so much worse was the sound system which sounded like a bunch of blown out speakers at peak volume. To top it off they had the AC blasting to an uncomfortably low temperature. The table next to us showed up and left 30 minutes later. We should have done the same. What a disservice!

It was my post marriage surprise. She liked the place. They hooked up us with the pit fire seat and a champagne. I had the best night of my life. Staff were soooo great from valet all to the top, they were awesome, treat and serve us very well. They’re gonna make your 1000th date feel fresh like the very first one.
For all dudes out there, bring your girl here and you won’t regret.
Again, Mike was great and please give him a raise because he deserves it.

This was a nice rooftop lounge restaurant. The ambience and atmosphere was chill and the service was very pleasant. Beautiful place to watch the sunset. This place is more for cocktails and appetizers. We wished to have stayed longer. They have a 2 hour max stay time per party.

Logistics: on top of the Marriott. Valet parking only $15. Walked in and was told only bar service as tables were reserved. However I opened my phone and made a reservation (plenty listed) and immediately got a table. So make a resy!
Vibe: DJ on Saturday night great. Hip hop/throwback R&B. Few people started dancing once the evening went on. Mainly at the second bar. Still lots of room at the other bar.
Drinks were good.
Did not try any food. Limited menu. $20+ dollars for French fries. Eat before!

I went to Hive and Honey Rooftop Bar after work with friends, and it was SO beautiful up there! The place is boujee and the view is incredible!! Be prepared to be blown away if you get to see the sunset from all the way up there.
I’ll admit the “comfortable” seating along the perimeter was not my fave because it was so low to the ground, so for us taller ladies, it made sitting down a bit awkward. But we made it work as best as we could.
The food was good. I personally got the PB&B sliders. They were a little dry for my taste. I felt like they needed more, but they weren’t too bad. Just not my fave personally. My friend ordered the sweet potato fries, and those were amazing!! I personally think they were better than my sliders. Sorry, not sorry.
For drinks, I only got one, and I’m like 90% sure it was ‘The Honey Bear,’ because it came in a cute plastic bear jar. The drink was really good. They’re definitely on the pricier side, just like the food, but for an occasional outing, it’s worth the splurge for sure.
I also can’t forget the service. We had a few different servers that night, and all were amazing! They were all so nice and made sure we were always tended to and well taken care of. Every single one was personable and kept us laughing so we really appreciated that.

Dj was playing some great early 00’s R&B. Had ceviche, and the game changer was the hot honey sweet potato fries with blue cheese! I wish they were open later for a Saturday night (close at 12) but definitely a unique spot in Orange County.

My first time going, also on a Saturday night and the place was busy, lively, and had a great vibe! Food was great, service was a bit backed up but it was a weekend so completely understandable. Friendly staff, drinks were good and the music was upbeat! All great things I expected from this place and every box was checked marked! Will definitely throw this into an outing routine for the weekends!
