What we ordered:
Garlic Butter Shrimp: Great starter!
Ravioli: Hmm mmm… yummy!
Lasagna: Seasoning was a bit mild, but still enjoyable.
On the day of the celebration, the restaurant truly exceeded expectations. They handled our large group with ease and made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was prepared perfectly, served hot, and full of flavor. Guests kept commenting on how much they enjoyed their meals.
What really stood out was the level of service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, from drinks to special requests, all while maintaining a friendly and attentive attitude. They made the birthday feel special, and we never felt rushed or overlooked despite the size of our party.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience at The Brother. It was the perfect venue for our celebration, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to host a special event—or simply to enjoy a great meal. We’ll definitely be back!
The cocktails were fantastic, I got the Bumpa (their version of an old fashioned) from their menu and she tried the strawberry basil martini, which was perfectly balanced between sweet and refreshing. We switched to a Super Tuscan on their menu for dinner. The food was solid, the meat ball appetizer and sauce was delicious, and the starter Caesar salad was also tasty (their dressing was clearly homemade. Entree’s were decent; my wife got the market priced pasta, which I’ll admit was the best part of the meal, but was disappointed they didn’t have the cheese wheel to prepare it table side, yet they still charged us full price for it. I got the Veal, which was served in a lemon sauce and paid the up charge for the pasta. The pasta is truly sensational, but the Veal left a lot to be desired; smaller pieces which were a bit chewier than normal, and the lemon sauce lacked flavor which I think added to the chewiness. We ended with tiramisu which was definitely home made and hit home.
All in all it was a pretty solid experience and we’d definitely go back!
Our server, Joel, provided outstanding service, enhancing our dining experience with his attentiveness and warmth.
The restaurant’s atmosphere is inviting and clean, making it a perfect spot for both casual meals and special occasions.
Casey, the valet parking was very sweet and attentive!
We had reservations for 8:30pm, and we arrived an hour earlier, They accommodated us with no hesitation!
UPDATE ( August 2025) I enjoyed myself so much at this restaurant earlier this year, that when I was back in town, I visited again. I came for my niece’s birthday. My experience this time was great food, but service was subpar.
Server forgot to bring out plates, napkins, and cutlery, so when we were served our bread, we all had to pass around the single plate to eat over.
Our food is excellent. I asked the server for some chilli flakes, but she forgot to bring them back to me, so I had to get up and go inside to ask her.
This was also the first restaurant I’ve been to in my life that did not do anything for a birthday. It was my niece’s 13th birthday, the reservation asked if it was a special occasion, the server also asked if it was a special occasion when we arrived, and then they didn’t do anything – not even a little happy birthday song or a bowl of ice cream/dessert. I just found it a bit odd to ask if it’s a special occasion and then not show that you even care about it. It makes more sense to not even ask.
Bottom line, I would eat here again, but the service needs touching up on.
