Wide selection of frozen foods, frozen and refrigerated ingredients like bean curd and thinly sliced lamb for hot pot or stir fry.
I love that they use short grain rice in the lunch plates. I tried the braised pork belly, braised fried tofu, and spicy fried chicken with Szechuan chilis. Will try more veggie dishes next time!
They also have many steamed buns and braised meat to choose from.
This was my first visit to New China, chosen mainly for its convenient location next to TP Tea and the need for a quick dinner option. The restaurant was bustling with satisfied customers, so I simply followed their lead and selected the same items they were picking up. I also asked a staff member about their most popular dish; she mentioned something I wasn’t entirely familiar with—possibly the Sweet and Sour Fish Fillet. It turned out to be a delightful surprise and left a great impression on my family.
Highly recommended.
I ordered some things and was on my way, less than $20 for 3 items and rice. I sat in my car and ate in and it was blown away. It was possibly one of the best tasting hole in the wall Chinese food I have ever had and the one thing I noticed, it wasn’t greasy and I didn’t feel heavy, nor did I fall into a coma like I normally do when eating Chinese food.
10/10 I would definitely come here again.
Ours was a takeout order. Called them to ensure they take ApplePay; the greeter was very polite and said they do, but requested it be over $20. In addition to the “regular” dishes (Kung-Pao Chicken and Noodles), I asked her for something in chicken, with sauce; she asked if “a bit sour” was OK. She recommended the Chicken with Radish; sounded interesting, was fantastic!
Quality was excellent; Quantity is substantial (definitely feeds more than one meal). What’s not to like?!
First time at this restaurant; definitely not the last time! If you haven’t guessed yet, would highly recommend.
