Stopped by the other day for breakfast and was impressed. The cashier was very friendly and answered all of my questions about the menu. I ended up getting the MQR breakfast which was fresh, well made, and came out quickly. Great place for a coffee, studying, or a quick bite. I will be coming again to try other dishes.

Hidden gem. Very clean. I walked in for a coffee and breakfast with my partner. Very Friendly and serviceable staff. A lot of North African/Agean/Mediterranean sea influences in the coffee and food. They use a lot of Mediterranean ingredients/spices. All breakfast options felt light on the stomach. If you want to break from the typical American breakfast this place adds a twist to it, I highly recommended this location.

MQR Café is a gem on Columbia Pike! The Labneh Toast with eggs was fresh and flavorful, the key lime pie was outstanding, and the pistachio latte might be my new favorite drink. Great vibe, tasty food, and friendly service—I’ll definitely be back.

MQR Cafe never disappoints each time I stop by. The harissa egg sandwich and caramel latte are my go-to menu options. The food, service, and ambience are reasons you should come by. Also, having halal meat on the menu is a super plus for me.

This place is amazing!! The food is delicious, especially the chopped cheese and the smokey pastrami. The flavors were so good, and it was cooked perfectly. The coffee is delicious as well, and Sabrina was super sweet and took great care of my order. Will definitely be coming back here!

I love this cafe because it tastes very authentic but was disappointed in the customer service. I stopped by this past Sunday late afternoon for a late brunch and a pistachio latte. The barista/cashier stepped away the moment we were about to start ordering to sit at her laptop. The drink was not made at the right temperature and was very cold. We kindly let her know and instead of offering to make a new one since it was a full drink, she proceeded to say that we should ask for extra hot next time and walked back to her laptop again! Mind you, we were eating there and the restaurant was empty! Just us! I got up again to ask her to remake it and she did it with such an attitude. She was being so petty she screamed out EXTRA HOT pistachio latte after preparing it. If it’s such an inconvenience to provide service to your customers maybe you shouldn’t work in the service industry! Just a thought.

I’ve been here twice already with friends, and both times the food has been amazing! First of all really appreciate going to a cafe that has as many savory items as they do sweet options. The labneh toast was great for a healthier and lighter meal, and super fresh. But omg the Mediterranean chopped cheese sub was amazing, they definitely packed in the flavor and did not skimp on the meat or any other ingredients. Will literally be back just for that. I also really liked their seasonal refresher drinks, I think it was passion fruit most recently. So definitely recommend checking it out and supporting local!
