Broccoli was soggy, the gristle and lack of taste in Pork Chop special; even after adding salt and pepper made this meal as the worst out of 100s of reviews I’ve done. What you see in picture is as fare as I got in eating this meal. Note: I paid and left tip.

The first time, I stop here was early in the morning, about a month ago.
I went into the store and observed a sign that said coffee, noticed empty coffee pot.
Walked through restaurant and didn’t see anybody and completely missed the other coffee maker.
I then walked next door and got coffee. As I was walking back a man, I take was the owner was yelling towards me. Stopped to see what he needed. He started berating me for walking through his establishment after parking in his parking lot and getting my coffee next door. I tried to explain what I thought I saw he didn’t want to hear it. So I took out a couple of dollars and offered as a good will jester for coffee my tired mind missed. He said he didn’t want my money and walked away.
This time I made an effort to stop here and give this business another chance.
I came in really wanting to give this place a chance to redeem itself, in any way.
IT DID NOT.
It’s a run down old truck stop with what appears to be a very bitter owner.

Great place if you need to stop in grab a GOOD meal and with great southern hospitality! Plenty room to park. 9 bucks for a hearty filling meal I will definitely keep this place in mind!

Are you people kidding me? The food was absolutely delicious here! $8 got me a huge smothered pork chop, beans, cornbread and a large drink. They were already out of fried chicken, so somebody must be eating there lol. No clue why the negative reviews?

I was sending pics to my wife in the truck to see what she wants and the owner comes over and says “stop taking pictures of my merchandise. Buy what you have and leave.” Well, I got to looking at the things in my hand and everything I had in my hands had expired between 6 months and a year ago. So I put everything back and left. Walked over to the Texaco and told someone there about how rude the guy was and was told “he’s probably suspicious of everyone because his deli recently got shut down for using expired food amongst other things.” Stay away. I would give zero stars if it were an option.

Tonight was the first time trying this place…and well we had an issue!!!! Both mine and my husband’s burger’s where still pink in the middle!!! Only the outer edges was done!!! So nope on your burger’s…we dont do no pink!!! But you got 2 stars for the wedges and the fries!!!

Parked at Texaco to use the bathroom and get some snacks. Texaco restrooms were out of order, so left without buying anything. Walked over to this place. Cashier saw us walk over from Texaco and told us to leave when we asked where the restroom was because we already “spent our money at Texaco”.
Bought my snack and used the restroom at the gas station with the McDonald’s down the road, they were much nicer.
