Chai is pretty mediocre and the food is disappointing.
Since the other food truck by Wilson’s market closed, I miss them so much! I’ve been going crazy trying to find something good to eat. So I was excited when chai mahal opened up! The service and owner is very nice and accommodating. Aunty is very pleasant.
Me and my friends have been going for a month trying all the different foods she comes up with. In all honesty, I haven’t liked anything so far. All the food is flavorless and cheap. She should increase her prices by 2-3 dollars and serve quality.
I was hoping this would become our spot. But with the limited options and random hours of operation, I’ll have to keep searching. Not a lot of good halal options in southside.
