We’ve been a few times now and have to say that the cocktails and food are spot on. Tried the half price burger on Monday and honestly it was one of the best burgers I’ve had. We had the Ramsey Bolton Burger. The wife opted for fries and I got the crispy brussels…oh heck yeah they were good. Tried an old fashion and Manhattan made with Jefferson whiskey. Perfect! Ended the lunch with chocolate and cherry mousse. We’re offically done for the day 🙂 Thanks, it was a fantastic lunch and fantastic service!!

I came into rebellion expecting the same customer service as usual. Unfortunately, I was greeted with new faces as rebellion seems to a quick turn over.
The bartender and server James and lauren were unhelpful and seemed insincere, which we are not used to. Incredibly disappointing.
We (my husband and I) went downstairs to find one of the best bartenders. Annabel. However, we were greeted with an unfamiliar friend. A roach, in our cesar salad. Absolutely DISGUSTING. The overall experience was frustrating and left a sour taste in our mouth.
Hopefully, rebellion can recruite better hires to sustain their reputation. I don’t see that in the near future.

Had a great lunch at Rebellion! The service is always great and the chef knows how to cook food! Their menu is creative, savory, and has something to offer everyone. Fries and Brussel sprouts are always super yummy.
They have a great happy hour too. Drinks are innovative and they also have mocktails that are well priced.

My wife and I stopped into The Rebellion Bourbon Bar and Kitchen in Downtown Fredericksburg for lunch today, and wow—what a great choice! Since it was raining, we weren’t out cleaning gutters, but after doing a few estimates and picking up supplies, we decided to try someplace new.
I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, The Cowabunga, with Nashville tots, and my wife had the meatloaf with mac & cheese. Everything came out hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. The atmosphere was fantastic—comfortable, lively, and welcoming. On top of that, the service was some of the best I’ve ever experienced.
If you’re in Downtown Fredericksburg and looking for an amazing meal, I can’t recommend Rebellion enough. We’ll definitely be back!

The vibes were vibing. The bartender was really cool & provided a great service. We got these wings and man oh man, the blueberry bbq sounds strange but they were absolutely delightful. They were smoked so they had a nice smoky flavor & the blueberry bbq just worked so majestically. I highly recommend giving them a try. The buffalo wings were a bit wet & not necessarily memorable so I wouldn’t recommend but they were not bad wings at all, just a couple levels under the blueberry bbq. It was my first time eating here as I don’t drink but my cousins invited me out, I would try their food out again for sure. Good job Rebellion Bourbon Bar ! Excellent ambience as well.

The pork rinds arrived crackling, hot, and delicious. According to one of my dining companions, the Grilled cheese and tomato soup hit the spot. I had the Phancy Filly- it was delicious (though perhaps a bit too much lettuce for my taste). My other dining companion loved his Rebel Yell sandwich. The ranch tots were particularly good as well.
We were seated on a Saturday at about 12:30 with a very short wait. The staff was friendly and attentive. We’ll return.

My husband and I recently went out to eat here, and we had a really great experience. The food was so good and our server was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed without being too much. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, which made it easy to relax and enjoy our time together. We’ll definitely be coming back! 🙂

A friend and I went to Rebellion today and we had great service at the bar from Jess, Brian, James & Laura! We love that they have happy hour on Saturdays and a wide selection of cocktails, wine and beer as well as a variety of nonalcoholic options! My friend was craving their mac & cheese while I wanted their pork rinds and both were delicious per usual! Rebellion puts their own unique spin on both their food and drinks which makes all of their offerings very creative and unique! It is by far our favorite “go to” spot in downtown Fredericksburg and we will be back very soon!

Great vibe, even better adult bevy selection — and the food absolutely holds its own. The staff was knowledgeable and helped me find something new without being pushy, and the cocktails seem balanced / well made. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and perfectly timed.
Honestly a perfect spot for a relaxed night out with great drinks and great bites. Downstairs is a cozy area, perfect for a date night.
