After a few days in Denver i needed something different besides pizza and burgers. We decided to give this place a chance. To start I found that the service was lacking, but you could tell is a small mom and pops. We order a few different dim sum and a seafood fried rice. The fried rice was ok to me but it had an odd burnt taste. The soup dumplings were honestly the worst I’ve ever had.
Unfortunately I didn’t enjoy anything of what we ordered, except the shrimp shumai which were ok.

Unassuming dim sum restaurant with excellent food at a reasonable price! Dishes are a mix of Cantonese and northern. Taste approved by a mainland native with a refined palate!
Update: We came back! It was just as good the second time. We tried there house specials: the meatball, shrimp with green tea leaves, beef with cordyceps, and orange zest beef. The table really liked the meatballs and beef with cordyceps! One hint to getting to the restaurant is that it is located in a slightly hidden strip mall set behind from 120th street. Check out the nearby reptile store after your meal to see cool animals!

This place is a bit of a hole in the wall, but it is very clean, and all of the food is fresh. Nice crisp vegetables in the noodle dish. The barbecue pork with honey sauce is amazing.

Fresh, good quality food. Many of dim Sum dishes were made from scratch. Meat in dim Sum was tender, juicy and flavorful . Baked desserts were unbelievably yummy. Especially the egg custard, BBQ pork Buns, Sticky Rice cake ( 驴打滚）and the list can go on for a while. My husband and I been there many times. And every time we get consistent good quality and yummy food.
Anyway I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to have good dim sum and good Chinese baked desserts.

So excited that there’s dim sum in Thornton! Everything we ordered and tasted was amazing! Get the barbecue pork buns and egg tarts! There’s a good variety of traditional dim sum dishes and also typical American-Chinese fare. The portion sizes were large and filling. The workers were very kind and helpful! Love it!

On stepping in, the place was empty (to be fair, it’s a Saturday leading up to Christmas).
This place is pretty no frills, the staff are very polite and it seems to be run by owner couple. Husband serves and wife cooks. (I assume)
The picture menu looked so small which threw me off and I felt disappointed, but then quickly realized the order sheet had the full menu – both sides, so remember to turn over the page.
The food are all prepared fresh, tastes super authentic and fairly traditional – doesn’t seem like reheated dim sum.
The flavors are all well balanced and very yummy!
Happy we made the choice to visit and…. Don’t be too quick to judge 🙂

Brand new place. Amazing food. Service is top notice as well. They serve dim sum all day, everything is made fresh to order. The price reflect the made to order food. The tea they serve is great. A simple black tea, but added orange peel. Way better than any simple tea. Do make sure to stop by. Since it is new, the place was empty. If you live up north, no need to drive so far for dim sum. Definitely recommend this place
