I on 24th because I wanted to see first hand the big sinkhole that had developed overnight taking the entire intersection and 2 buildings to deeper parts of the planet. I couldn’t get close enough because the fire department had the area closed off, but I was able to get to Taqueria San Francisco and had some amazing pork tacos!
This little taqueria is perhaps one of the best taquerias in the city! I’ve eaten at so many different Mexican restaurants in SF, and for that matter…California from Crescent City to Bakersfield, and the barbacoa pork tacos from Taqueria SF on 24th is right up in the top 5. They’re worthy of a cross-town trek! 5 ☆☆☆☆☆

My childhood Taqueria, #1 to me. We love their food everything is so delicious. The burritos, tacos na hos and quesadilla suizas are my family favorites. It is family owned, they have great, and fast service. The taqueria is always clean. The food is perfect not greasy like every other taqueria around.

Had a taco de asada, so good! The salsa is amazing! So hot just how I like it. My sis had the carnitas tacos, she said they were good. Little guacamole with the chips was good too. Man at the register was very nice. Taco was big, it was worth the price.

Delicious carne asada and al pastor tacos! Their salsa packs flavor and a decent amount of heat. Their sandia agua fresca is perfect to me; the right amount of sweet!
The place seems a little run down and could really use a remodel. Music could really liven up the place.
The service was friendly and the food was served fast.
Cant wait to come back and try other dishes, like the chile relleno burrito.

Good burrito. I like the al pastor. I wasn’t blown away, but I would definitely come back. The salsas were great and chips were surprisingly different (in a good way). The atmosphere is too casual — there really were no customers in there when we went.

A Mission District original. Great Mexican food — tacos, burritos, quesadillas (the one I had); and spicy salsas to boot. Small but it does what the body needs — yummy food and a quick pace. You can sit inside, or take it to go — it is all good! #TheBrokerWithAHeart

Hello, this is place is pretty good, but their prices are over the roof. I got tacos de cabeza and paid $7.50 per taco. That is insane
