This Pizza Hut still has the cozy brick and Tiffany lamp aesthetic. SUCH a good vibe. Also, tasty pizza with wonderful service. Devouring a large Meat Lover’s with friends is a great winter lunch.

This Pizza Hut is absolutely fantastic. We travel from bloomington il to eat here and it lives up to the expectation every time. The manager, Patricia, is so kind and an amazing host/server. She is attentive and makes sure our order is perfect every time. The food is always hot and fresh whether it’s the buffet or brought to the table. Overall love this Pizza Hut and would recommend it to anyone wanting a nostalgic experience!

One of the last sit down Pizza Huts left in Illinois. Fast friendly service and the food was hot and delicious! The entire experience was excellent from start to finish. The restaurant was spotless which shows they take pride in their store. Will be making more returns for sure.

I’m too young to remember going to a classic Pizza Hut, but I wanted to try visiting the buffet of a “Pizza Hut Classic” after reading about them on Rolando Pujol’s blog.
I won’t comment on the quality of the food. It’s standard Pizza Hut fare. I haven’t had Pizza Hut for a few years, and I was satisfied 🙂
Note that the buffet isn’t open all day, and hours don’t seem to be posted on the website. As of the time of writing, the buffet hours are 11:30 – 1 PM on weekdays.
The dining room seems to mostly pass the vibe check. We had the option of a booth or table. Booths are lit by the classic branded lamp. The buffet and dining room use a lot of wood trim. Our server, Casey, was very nice, and refilled our drinks regularly. (Hopefully I have his name right, I only saw it on my receipt)
The menu was a bit limited, but the buffet island is pretty small, so I don’t suppose it could have been bigger. The store wasn’t very busy today, but the pizza trays were still replaced quickly. The salad bar is completely closed, as it appears that nationally, Pizza Hut no longer serves salad. A salad would have been nice with the meal, so this was a small disappointment.
Some things seem to be missing: wooden chairs were replaced with metal, and the tablecloths are a plaid pattern instead of checkered. The classic red cups were missing. The experience wasn’t perfect, but I get that things may have been updated or replaced for one reason or another. Personally, I would prefer the restaurant stay open than try to preserve its original image at any cost.
For a simple buffet, I had fun! I would check out other Pizza Hut Classics in the future to see how they compare to this one.

We drove from Springfield just to come here,as it’s the closest sit down Pizza Hut. From the second we walked it we were transported back in time. Red table cloths, glass Pizza Hut light globes and a Book IT poster. Everything about this is 90s. Entire staff was great. Food came out in a very reasonable time. Bread sticks were just how I remembered. Go here if you want the Pizza Hut you remember.

Absolute throwback to the 80s and 90s of a proper Pizza Hut. I don’t know how or why, but the quality of the food was even better than the little pickup and delivery stores. Great service too!
