Awesome place. Locally owned and operated. Food was amazing too. I got the Chicken philiy sandwich. Their outside lounge area is awesome too. They have an area for live bands and a place to play bags when the weather is nice. Also they have cherry bomb blonde on tap which is hard to find out this far from the quad cities.

Today we had a doctor’s appointment in Aurora. We drove past dozens of restaurants and we did not care! We were waiting to get home to go eat at Bertas!! Having the BEST paty melt I’ve ever been served with beer cheese and fries!! It is an absolute MUST!!

Love a great hidden gem, you walk in thinking it’s a dive bar ,but think again! This place is way classier than menu and appearance. The menu has expanded, the outdoor area has expanded and not to mention how nice the server/bartender was as well as inviting, I’m fortunate to be able to order lunch from here often cuz it’s so affordable I don’t think I can go to fast food for the same price. Weekly specials also killing it! Must stop by
