First time today after being recommended by a cousin. We had a tenderloin with fries, and a cheeseburger with onion rings. Will definitely be back. Well worth the drive out from Gas City.

We stopped at Mill Street Inn while out of town because they have breakfast all day. They have a large dining room with a very homey feel. Our waitress was awesome, perfect amount of attentive without being underfoot, and always appeared at the right time for refills or pie or to go drinks. The food was amazing. The omelet my son got was like…this is how an omelet should be! The prices were very reasonable. It’s only about 30 minutes from home so we will definitely go back.

Found this gem while searching for good tenderloins! The tenderloin was very good according to my husband. I chose Hawaiian Pizza…also very good! Topped it off with dessert…cherry pie and coconut cream pie. Will be back to try breakfast soon!

This place was a little farther from the freeway than I normally would travel but I was looking for a mom and pop kind of place and this one definitely fits the bill. Prices are very reasonable and the portions were good. I like my eggs over medium so they aren’t too slimy and these were a little undercooked, but many places have a hard time getting over medium eggs right. I forgot to take a picture of my breakfast but a nice senior couple sitting next to me let me take a picture of theirs. That cinnamon roll looked mighty good! Karen was prompt and efficient as my server and the atmosphere was friendly and inviting. Give them a try!

Ordered the breaded tenderloin with onion rings for lunch. After 20 minutes the waiter came out to tell me they don’t have any breaded tenderloin and asked me if grilled would work and I said yes. When I finally received my food after 30 minutes I had fries and no onion rings. I brought that to the attention of the waitress and she just said ” you know how it goes” and shrugged and walked away. I will never come back.

This is the coolest, little, simple, most homie place I have been in a long time. This hidden away gem has the best Indiana tenderloin and The coleslaw is to die for, places like these are going out of style and I can’t imagine why. The staff and atmosphere just has that midwestern hospitality this world needs. Weather you are from Indiana or just passing through stop in and have a bite for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

In having to skip our usual after Riley stop, while looking for ideas on google maps we found this out of the way diner. Pleasant, cute little place. Very filling, fresh flavorful food. The staff was nice and welcoming. Definitely worth the extra out of the way drive.

We drove from Fort Wayne, IN to come back for dinner since we had a nice experience before. We Googled the restaurant to make sure they were open. We got there with over an hour to spare! As soon as we walked in the host immediately told us they closed in 10 minutes. The lady in the kitchen yelled towards us and said, “kitchen is closed. Everything is turned off.”
Thats fine but even the sign on the door stated their hours and it was in over an hour. Updating the review because that was frustrating.

We are heading to Louisville from Fort Wayne. Decided to stop in for breakfast. The food was incredible and the portions were huge! My son was obsessed with the pancakes. They were almost like cornbread pancakes!
