I ordered a pull pork family meal for take out and it was awesome. I followed another reviewer’s advice on the potato salad and was really glad I did. It was the best potato salad I’ve every had at a restaurant.

Cool downtown. I got the ribs . They were cooked the way I like them just a little bit of chew left the smoke was spot on . There were a few bites that got a little salty.I would probably skip the jambalaya next time . The baked beans were spot on . And the corn bread was a nice touch. The atmosphere is super.

Nice atmosphere but not nice enough to make up for the food. The serving size is very small. The food isn’t bad but it isn’t very great. Banana pudding consists of 2 cookies and zero bananas. The actual pudding is subpar and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was instant pudding. I will say the chicken was moist but lacked the smoked flavor. The baked beans were the most enjoyable part of my meal but even those weren’t that great. The sweet tea was good?

My first order was door dash and I have the pull pork with Mac, baked beans, and cornbread. The pull pork was okay…needed more seasoning the Mac and Baked beans were pretty good and that Cornbread was AMAZING!!!!!!! I have definitely went back just for the Cornbread alone!!!! Its sooooo good! I want to try more items but right now Cornbread it is lol!! The banana pudding was alos great as well

The food was excellent. Trivia was a blast! However, the bartender closed the tab without finding out if we were finished. Used the wrong card to complete the transaction. Seems like they need to train their staff better.

Food was okay.
Hadn’t been here in a couple years, so wanted to try it out again and my husband and I thought the food was okay. He had the catfish and he liked it, but we both thought the Mac n cheese was too salty and really lacked flavor, I couldn’t finish mine. The cole slaw was meh, I had like one or two bites. I ordered the ribs, and they were okay. I was wanting meat falling off the bone and these weren’t it. However, they did have really good homemade lemonade!
We may go back and try it again, maybe we just came on a night when the food was meh.

The smokes chicken sandwich is awesome. The meat is tender and juicy. Their potato salad was alright it needed more seasonings. The cornbread dressing was moist but lacked flavor and had cranberry sauce on top which over powdered the flavors heavily.
