Atmosphere is upscale sports bar. Overlooks the Cesar’s pool. We started with chips and guac. It was good but lacking in seasoning and no acidity in the guacamole. We ordered tacos as our main. Chipotle ranch chicken tacos for myself and al pastor for my guest. Each were served with a side of chips and salsa clearly from a jar. The tacos are visually unappealing. Mine were a whole grilled chicken breast with chipotle sauce dumped on a flour tortilla and sprinkled with some shredded cheese. As I ate them I did manage to find some wilted lettuce on the bottom which didn’t lend itself to a pleasant mouth feel. The flavor profile was nice though the chicken was prepared with a flavorful rub and cooked properly. I wouldn’t order this again but it was not bad. My guests tacos were presented with a few slivers on onions on top and that was it. Did not resemble authentic Al pastor flavors at all. Overall not a restaurant I’d return to.

Honestly the food great and affordable, the restaurant location is a bit strange being right by the front desk of the hotel but not a deal breaker. The issure was the serving staff was not great. The first time we went was breakfast and everything was adequate. The second time I was sent over by the hotel desk because I asked for paper plates and was completely ignored but everyone working there even when I walked up to the bar stood there for about 10 mins and made eye contact with almost every employee and was ignored so I left. Then we had dinner there and our waitress got into an argument about who our waitress was supposed to be after taking our order they switched and then got our order wrong and got an attitude with us over their miscommunication was a bizzare experience and definitely made for a disappointing dining experience would not go back.

I’m assuming it could be a nice place if it was well staffed. When we arrived we each ordered a margarita and chips and salsa to start. After having conversations with other patrons I wanted a 2nd margarita. After 10 minutes someone finally showed up. I never got my chips/salsa let alone order any food.

I really like how generous the portions are here. I recently tried the Backyard BBQ Burger and really enjoyed it. For an appetizer, I had the mozzarella sticks, which were delicious. The server mentioned they’re made fresh in-house with big blocks of cheese that are hand-breaded — and you can definitely taste the difference.

Loved way you can smell the food with the open concept grill at the bar! It was almost impossible to choose but the steak quesadilla was fantastic. My friend got the new buffalo chicken wrap and I will absolutely be getting that next time! Will be back.

Our server Bridget was great and even though they were busy they gave great service and food quality excellent. We had great meals and came to eat each day. Can’t wait to go back and love the staff and food cant be beat.

We were not aware that Mix n Mingle was not there anymore. We asked the front guard for more options but he wasn’t helpful. We stayed at Sizzle & Salt. They don’t even offer chips & salsa as all Mexican places do. My husband wanted it so we paid $6 for nothing. The menu is limited. We ordered the chicken fajitas & it indicated sizzling. It’s supposed to be served on a sizzling iron plate but it was on a regular plate. Extremely small portion for the price. And it was horrible. I’m not crazy about Mexican but I have had better fajitas especially that it wasn’t served properly. My husband is more familiar with Mexican & he said it was awful. We don’t recommend anyone trying it & wasting money. It was unfortunate that we weren’t aware of Magnolia House or the food court with options. We would have gladly gone to Magnolia or the food court. What a shame.

The food was delicious, and they give you a good sized serving. It’s reasonably priced and worth the money. I ordered the turkey club and my mother had the chicken fajita quesadillas. Both were very good. The guacamole was such a hit that I asked for some more and added it to my sandwich.
