I was looking for Mexican food and finally found it but the flavor isn’t good, the pastor meat was burned and the color was excessive red, so it looked weird. I would like more flavor and less color. I also asked a choriqueso and it was so oily. I asked for churros and it were really good, that’s why I give 3 stars. Flavored water is also good. The place is clean, the service is fast and the atmosphere is good.

Cute little place for lunch.We really enjoyed going there to grab a bite. We ordered both the pork and beef taco plate. Both had good flavor but really enjoyed the pork. I would go back again.

Start walking in you will be lucky if there’s not a line for these tacos. They are delicious and you can even see them make everything right there. The churros are delicious. My wife always makes me stop here for tacos while we are in dallas. The only reason negative review I have so far is the parking. If you have a small car parking is a breeze, if your a truck and other large veichles can be hard to find parking.

El Trompito food is delicious. My favorite is the churros , they’re hot and fresh. I’ve dined in twice and took out once. The prices are okay , the parking is tight and can be better. The few times I’ve been the lady and two men don’t speak English. Their music is extremely loud. Their food makes up for everything.

Parking lot is not for big dually trucks but other than that this place is solid on flavor helpful and friendly staff. If its your first time you cant go wrong the mix special.The quesobirrilla tacos had some heat to them,the consume was great,will definitely be coming back, I ordered to go but you can dine in there aswell.

Tacos are good for being in this area. But the service needs a lot of improvement. Don’t come here if you are hungry because you will be waiting longer than normal. Even calling in and order on the phone you would think you just pay and your order is ready. WRONG they don’t make it until you come in and pay, then they start making your order. Called an Oder in at 6:30pm and I was told 20 minutes so I arrived at 7:00 and didn’t get my food until 7:32pm. What is the point of calling the order in if it’s still not ready. I hate ordering from this place but I just feel like driving to Taxco in Mesquite or Cesar taco in oak cliff.

I love love love their barbacoa tacos. It come with a small papa and red and green sauce so tasty, I had to get an extra. The tortilla looked a little smaller this last time I went but they were still delicious. The girl that takes the order is always really nice. There was plenty of seating available and all the tables were clean. Everytime I go, they have music playing outside its a good vibe.
