Ordered drive thru and got home to see my daughter’s sandwich had mayo when I expressly asked for it to be plain and no mayo. Drove back to restaurant to replace sandwich (which they did with significant eye rolling and attitude,) and then my daughter texted me that her drink had a “floaty” in it. Showed staff the photo said they couldn’t do anything for us not even for the hassle of having to go back. My daughter asked if she could get a bag of chips instead. They said nope, no way. we are not impressed. Very disappointed. It’s not the first time the order has been wrong either. We are done going to this subway. I rarely write crappy reviews but this is for my 13 year old daughter who was almost in tears because she’s so tired of this happening to her.

I should’ve listened to the other 1 star reviews. Don’t waste your time at this location. Customer service is in the toilet! No wonder the place was empty, not a soul in sight. Staff member was extremely rude and disrespectful. I should’ve known better because when I told her I wanted to heat the meat up first she rolled her eyes like I was inconveniencing her. Then. She gave me attitude and was nasty because she THOUGHT I was being rude (because I asked her to double my portion after seeing how small the scoop was). Initially, I tried to de-escalate the situation (because arguing at Subway, on my lunch break is crazy) but I guess she took that as a sign of weakness and doubled down on her disrespect and rudeness so I quickly matched her energy and showed her what me being rude actually sound/look like. I’m glad she knows the difference now. I lost my appetite immediately because I refuse to eat food made by someone who is confrontational and nasty. I wouldn’t dare eat anything from this place. The experience was very disturbing. You would’ve thought she knew me from the hood and had unfinished beef. The amount of animosity she had all because I wanted to pay for extra meat was crazy, as if it comes out of her pay check. That girl should not be in the front serving customers, she belongs in the back away from the public. Actually she shouldn’t even be in the service industry. Employees like her is the reason why young black women in the service industry have a bad rep, she’s literally living up to the stereotypes of Bonqueisha at BurgerKing! Just disgusting behavior! ps. I reached out to corporate as well because leaving a bad review just wasn’t enough, that’s how horrible they are!

I’ve been served here by other who provided excellent customer service but today on Christmas Eve December 24th at 3pm the women working seem to be upset, wont put toppings we wanted, wont put sauce on, had an attitude. She said “I wont put condiments on top of the veggies because that’s the rules” she cant gice extra because that’s the rules. Seems like they are upset at working today. Wont be returning to this subway. Hope this message finds the owner. Merry Christmas ! Again, horrible disrespectful service.

Such rude, condescending, accusatory staff for a $15 meal. Wouldn’t take my money and blamed me for not reading the sign “posted everwhere”, while only displaying the policy at the register. Will never be back to this location. Staff blamed the owner. Shame on you, owner.

I stopped by this Ferndale location because they’re open until 10 PM, and I’m so glad I did. The gentleman working tonight was quick, confirmed my order for accuracy, and had a genuinely kind attitude. After a recent negative experience at another location, this visit was a reminder that great service still exists. It was refreshing and greatly appreciated!

I ordered a grilled chicken sub with spinach onion chipotle. The gave me banana peppers, which I didn’t want – no big deal picked them off, but the three pieces of cubed chicken was a disappointment. For two subs came to over $20 to get basically bread with onion spinach and chipotle sauce. Next time I’ll walk in and order not go through the drive through.

We ordered a simple Italian sub sandwich and requested extra vegetables and the manager said that she could not give away all of her vegetables. I said ma’am I’m perfectly willing to pay for extra vegetables and in a very curt tone she repeated…”I can’t give you all my vegetables!” Mind you, it was Memorial Day and the restaurant was slow and she refused to make a paying customer’s sandwich the way you want. I will NEVER return to this location again and will never recommend this location anyone.
