I originally stopped in with some clients but noticed there wasn’t much seating, so we went elsewhere. I came back later and was pleasantly surprised! Niles was fantastic—friendly, helpful, and made my food fresh. The nachos with queso were delicious, and the tacos were just as good. I saw some old negative reviews, but my experience was excellent. Niles really made the visit great!

Savannah said it will take 1 hr to make the carne Guisada….. because it’s a lunch item. I guess that’s because the chicken fajita isn’t a lunch item.

There’s hardly ever any food. What is there is unappealing. I’ve tried to eat there a few times because I know when they want to they have good food. 2x ago the girl acted pissed that we wanted some help and the lady time was about 4pm and they’re was no food at Laredo and the fried food in the cabinet was expired at like 8am. Disgusting

I went in today and saw that they had fajita tacos. So I tried to order some and the steak was so dry like it been sitting around for at least 4 to 5 hours. I asked the clerk if she could cook some more and she said she could but it’s going to take 7 minutes. I get the feeling that these people would rather just stand around doing nothing then serving food. All the food looked like it was several hours old.

The crew hates their jobs, food is always old and dry on the line, have to chase down a yellow shirt to get food. The portionings are inconsistent and the employees could act like they have something better to do than hide in the back on their phones. Chips are never made and its a hassle to get them. Terrible location, don’t openly trust the food in the hot case!! The food will be there after 2 pm when it’s made at 6 am!

Between Doordashing and in person orders this place is horrible. No one speaks English and the food is always wrong.

I decided to finally try this place out of morbid curiosity, having stopped at the 7/11 countless times while on route for FedEx. It’s worth noting that I rarely saw any customers stop to eat here, and it turns out, there’s a very good reason for that. For starters, the various meats and sides on offer appear to have been sitting in warmers for hours, if not days on end. Everything you expect to be offered at a taco shop is available, albeit extremely dubious and odd in appearance. It’s almost as if the food was engineered in a lab, with loose knowledge of how the ingredients are supposed to taste and appear. I opted for the taco plate, specifically the barbacoa, which included two sides (I chose beans and rice). I dressed the tacos with salsa and onions and cilantro at the condiments bar on offer. The tacos were much larger than standard tacos. Basically they were two burritos, unwrapped. When it was time to dig in, the experience was uncomfortable at best. The tacos were swimming in grease, and the meat was a hardly recognizable mush with abstractly beef flavor. I would choose Taco Bell, or even Del Taco any day over this mess, and would save money doing so (I believe I spent at least 10 dollars on the plate). Wanting to save my bowels from unnecessary suffering, I ate one taco and threw the other away. This is food that hardly qualifies as being fit for human consumption. The only positive thing I can take away from my visit is the fact that I was amazingly spared from foodborne illness. I honestly would’ve had a far better experience going with the little 7/11 taquitos that stay on the rollers all day.

For truck stop tacos they’re actually pretty legit. Definitely not consistent, but when they are on their game, it’s pretty delicious. They use quality tortillas, which I respect.
Great breakfast on the way to work!

I saw that the 7 eleven had the Larado taco co. and it brought back memories of going down to South Padre Island in Texas. So, I had to get 2 chicharron tacos and a spicy chicken, and it tasted just like the ones in Texas. I will be going back for more .
