I love to try local restaurants while traveling. Went to Morrow Mountain for sunrise and tried this place while returning. The ambiance of the place is cozy and they have an A rating for cleaning. Also, the servers were so friendly. We tried biscuits with gravy which I liked most and livermush sandwich which was interesting coz I never tried this before.

Boyfriend and I stopped here yesterday for some breakfast before our zoo day. Food and service was incredible! The ladies working there were efficient, warm, and welcoming. Our food tasted like a home cooked meal. Thank you guys for a wonderful experience. 10/10 recommend!

You don’t get what you paid for for one, small portions cold food. My hashbrowns were raw and you don’t get that much not even a handful. Biscuits and gravy was spicy, why. When they say hashbrowns they mean tator tats on the Emma’s special, not what we wanted. The lady was nice but the food was disappointing. I don’t know if we will be back.

Dropped in LATE for breakfast and they were happy to serve us. My husband got his liver mush and eggs, and I ate his pancakes. No complaints from either of us.

Very friendly staff. Great cheese burgers, hot dogs and chicken tenders. I recommend the Badin Lake special! This restaurant is a hidden gem. They are only open until 2PM. So next time you are in the areas. Make sure you try this hidden gem.

Good food! interestingly enough I am always surprised by people (other patrons) in this modern day who are shocked by our presence in their small town restaurant. Yes! We eat too! Nevertheless, the food was good and the helpings were great for the price. Good service too.
