Horrible on December 1, 2025 I visit this place and ordered fried gizzard combo. The gizzards were fried entirely too hard. That was ridiculous. I politely asked the workers if I could switch the gizzards for 3 pieces children because they were both the same price. I was told “no” because the gizzards were fried special order for me. I was given number to speak with store manager Clint. Unbelievable the manager Clint told me that’s been his recipe for gizzards for many years and that’s his favorite thing to eat when he goes there. Obviously the person that fried them for him was not on duty when I ordered gizzards. This is the 1st time in my life ever taking time to review an establishment but I need to warn the people of Houma please do not order gizzards at this location. There is no way anyone can chew that mess. I wasn’t asking for a refund and I was trying to give them the gizzards back in exchange for chicken. Basically I was screwed and stuck with gizzards I couldn’t even chew. Terrible!!! Poor customer service. Very dissatisfied customer. I work too hard for my money

The chicken is really good just the right amount of spice so you don’t get the choice of spicy or mild because you don’t need to and if you want an extra kick they have Frank’s red hot. The rolls are the best thing though they remind me of the school cafeteria bread back when the bread was actually good .

Had this place again today, and it’s some of the best chicken that I’ve had. I gotta two piece white with fries. The chicken was seasoned well, and was hot and fresh. The fries are just plain fries, but sometimes simple is better. They were hot and fresh as well. The roll is really good too!

The chicken was cold and the rolls were stale. I asked for a fresh roll and they said you have to give us the old one. I said ok and manager said doesn’t look stale to me and wouldn’t exchange. So now I know why the place is empty. We spent 53.00. Popeyes here we come.

The thigh I had wasn’t fully cooked. I brought this to the attention of the employee. I said politely, “I don’t think this is completely cooked.” It has some pink juice, which should have been clear, coming from an area of meat just beyond the 1st layer. Thinking I should have got another piece that was fully cooked, she came back and said, “He said,(I guess the cook) it was cooked. I said not if it had pink juice and a little red meat it wasn’t. Even though I like Danny’s Fried Chicken, from this experience I will go to Popeyes from now on. Check out the pic. I know the lighting wasn’t the best, but would you eat that? I just through it in the garbage. Very poor customer service.

Food takes forever to get. Most times there is a 10+ minute wait on chicken. One drive through worker is rude. The chicken is very good though if you don’t mind waiting forever to get it.
