Maybe the food was perfect , this was my first taste of ‘southern’ cuisine being a Brit, but I was not particularly impressed. Maybe I should have had a steak.
We came midweek 5pm during Covid and this big place was empty.
The staff were semi friendly and quite slow given that we were the only people in the place.

Ordered the loaded fries. Fries were overwhelmingly salty and not crispy.
My dad and I ordered the philly. The steak had no season and tasted of grease and the bread was hard like a hockey puck and chewy like steak grizzle..
My waiter was nice. Probably the nicest part of the experience.
Was hoping for better food at such a high price point.

Michelle, our server, had excellent customer service, especially given our large family with lots of needs/special requests. She was attentive, professional, and friendly, making our visit top-notch. The salad bar is the best around, with fresh fixings, including large chicken chunks. We had the garbage can appetizer (yummy & unique!), coconut shrimp, chicken Alfredo, a kids’ meal, and the soup/salad (unlimited for $8!). It was all very well-prepared, a good value and tasty. We live in the neighboring town, but we will be back!

We tried this place tonight on the recommendation of a friend. We came in and decided to eat in the bar area because the main dining area was fairly busy. We had to wait several minutes before placing our drink order but really didn’t think much about it because we knew they were busy. About 15 minutes later a group of younger people came in that one of the waitstaff seemed to know and they were served very quickly. About 30 minutes later their food came out, ours had still not arrived. I flagged down our waitress and she seemed genuinely surprised and apologized. She said there had been a printer error in the kitchen and that our order had never been put in. By this point we had been there an hour so we decided not to wait any longer. We paid for our drinks and left. I have heard good things about the food here, but I doubt I will be back to find out.

Awful restaurant, returned items twice only to receive items worse than the original ones. Went with wife & 3 grandkids mid afternoon. Will not be returning.

We started going to Bobbers & Beer when we discovered that it was a Buffet. My husband and I went and were very pleased with the food and the staff. Our waitress, Jennifer was so nice, it was a definite go back to place. And we did every week.
Then one day we went to have our wonderful meal at Bobbers, and the buffet was gone. UGH! We were not happy. But we stayed and ate anyway.
Jennifer is the main reason that we keep coming back. Granted, the food is good, the atmosphere is good, the price is average for a sit down place. We come back for the great service. Jennifer is actually happy to see us when we come in there. It’s very nice. Now, if you would just lower the price of your soda and tea, we’d be batting a thousand Very Sincerely Barbara

I enjoyed the food. We are at the bar. The beer was super cold! I had the club wrap and substituted the salad bar for the fries. The salad was great, fresh with a nice variety. He had the BB Bacon Burger with fries. I had to steal one of his fries. They are very yummy, hand cut and you can tell. Hope we go back soon

Just got into town, and looked up restaurants near me, this place popped up, so we gave it a try. From the start we were greeted by a friendly staff member, named Johnny, and he waited on us. He was so very nice and on it. The food was amazing. My only semi complaint, I guess you can say, is that the steamed broccoli was a little too salty. The salad bar was fresh and everything on it was very appetizing. Our food was seriously perfect. Do y’all make the dressings on the salad bar? Because they tasted better than other dressings we’ve had. Great place. We will definitely be back.

This place was great. Wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff, & amazing food. The decor was very suitable since the lake is nearby. We ordered alfredo & the hungry man platter. Both were so good & very flavorful. The fried pickles are a great appetizer to start with & the salad bar was very fresh. All in all this restaurant is a great place to go & we will definitely be going back soon.
