My partner and I recently dined at Fenwick’s, and overall, we had a pleasant experience with a few areas for improvement. First off, the service style is unique in that there’s no host to greet you. You seat yourself at an open table and order via a QR code. While efficient, the timing of the service could be refined. Our drinks arrived after about 15 minutes, quickly followed by both the appetizers and entrees. We would have preferred to enjoy our cocktails first, with the appetizer served before the main course, rather than all dishes and drinks arriving together.
We ordered the Welsh rarebit (appetizer), Tikka Masala, Windsor burger, and two Old Fashioned cocktails. The food was served hot, which we appreciated. The Old Fashioneds were great, some of the best we’ve had. The Windsor burger, a smash burger, had excellent taste, but the patties were overly thick for our preference. Thinner, more smashed patties would’ve elevated the dish in our opinion. Fries that came with the burger were very good. The tikka masala was flavorful but lacked sufficient sauce, making the dish feel dry, especially alongside the rice and naan which are inherently dry sides. Serving the chicken in a bowl with sauce would’ve elevated the dish significantly. The Welsh rarebit was satisfactory but felt like it was missing a distinctive element, and we likely would not order it again.
Despite these critiques, the meal was enjoyable, and the issues noted are minor and could be fixed easily. With adjustments to the dish preparation and service timing, we would gladly return. We rate our experience 4 out of 5 stars.

Got a chance to try the relatively new Fenwick’s for a late lunch. It’s a great space with some fantastic food. They have a good selection of traditional British pub foods as well as some of their takes on it. Great sandwiches, chips and Welsh rarebit for our group with a couple of half and half beers. You’re doing good when you can order a Guinness/Harp half and half. You scan a code at your table to order and pay. Beers and food came quickly, we were checked in on to make sure we were doing OK with the ordering system and again to make sure food was good. Definitely no real complaints about this system from our first experience. Can’t wait to see what kind of specials they come up with (the full English breakfast may bring me in for an early morning soccer game).

We had the fish and chips, Welsh rarebit, and the tomato basil soup bowl. Everything was outstanding! Our host/bartender Chad was very sweet.

Great place to have a meal with friends. We shared the chips and curry and the artichoke hearts. The owner bought a Windsor burger for my friend and I to split. Which is delicious.
The bartender was friendly and attentive. The owner introduced himself and was also on the floor serving food and drinks.
The beer and drink options were good.
I would of given 5 stars, but there must be a play area upstairs above the bar. For a while it did get loud with the kids screaming and slamming around. In my opinion, the kids were old enough to not act like that and the parents just sat there and didnt reign them in. so no fault of Fenwicks.

This pub provides a delicious slice of home for my wife. We had a great experience at Fenwick’s and will definitely be rushing back to try more! They pull a great imperial pint, have a varied and authentic menu (we loved everything we tried from Scotch Eggs to Bangers and Mash) and even though you simply order via a QR code at the table, the service was fast with friendly staff to chat to and take care of you. This is a great addition to the market!

Great Fish and chips EVERYDAY. Super cute English pub. Love the ginormous “ virtual salad bar” where you choose what you want and they build it!!!
Great imperial pints!

Stopped in while killing time between watching youth basketball games. It was a great experience. Amanda is a great bartender. Very attentive and friendly. Met one of the owners (Michael) who was great. Shared the history behind the restaurant and had a lot of passion for what they want to accomplish.
I came for a few drinks, but Michael gave me an appetizer to try; which was great (fries with a curry dipping sauce).
Cool place. Great service and I look forward to trying more of the eclectic menu. It’s a great addition to the area. Well done to the owners and their team.

This place was a fun surprise for us. We went during happy hour (Mon-Weds till 5:30) and got a burger, chicken tenders, and curry fries. All the food was delicious and the beers were great as well (big selection of beers). The service was quick and the manager came around to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Will definitely be back!

This is a fantastic pub that more people need to know about.
I loved the food, I have many more things to try but hoping in the winter they add cottage pie or steak and kidney pie.
Also, the drink selection is great, I went in knowing I wanted a Cider, but with all the options it was a hard choice.
The service was fantastic, and loved the QR codes on the tables to place your order. I know that sounds less personable but the bar tender took great care of us and everything came out quick.
Last thing was I loved the decor. Someone clearly put a lot of money and paid attention to details when refurbishing this space. I hope it does really well and many others get to try it out.

Definitely my favorite food stop in the mequon public market. The food is great and I love that each table has malt vinegar and brown sauce…a must for a British pub. The irish spice bag was delicious. The staff was friendly.
