Had a wonderful breakfast at the Post. Wife had French toast, I had biscuits and gravy. Everything was cooked well and tasty. Coffee was great. Service quick and attentive. Would definitely recommend…

Great food in a cozy, contemporary setting. Our party had a combination of breakfast and lunch and both were yummy. The greens that came with my black bean burger were fresh and plentiful.

Let me start with the good.
Food was delicious, everyone was pleased, no wait to get a table and now I know why.

The bad, the staff.
Not everyone, however they don’t seem well organized. We didn’t have a dedicated person serving us.
After being sat we waited about 10 min , nobody checked in on us. I had to go ask (maybe the manager ? A female ) if we could get utensils. There was a Latino man who was the one going around asking if anything was needed. Had to ask him to send someone our way so we can order, and to get our check.

Just like the review prior the gentleman with a gray sweater is who actually took out order and seemed bothered to even take our order, he walked away before we could finish ordering and never came back
The wait time to bring food out wasn’t that bad

It has potential. The other two who might be managers are very friendly.

I’ve been to The Post a few times now and the service, food and weekend bottomless mimosas (from 11am-2pm) have all been fantastic!

b don’t ever do Google reviews, but my fiancé took me here for Valentine’s Day and we got a charcuterie board, appetizer, a salad, bread with butter as well as our entrées and dessert with a bottle of wine for only $100. I got the sirloin steak and out of all places that I’ve had steak this has been the best one 10 out of 10. fefinitely recommend coming with your boo next time for Valentines or just for a date because the food was so good

We had an employee Christmas party there. 16 people in total. 8 of us ordered med, med rare, and rare steaks. They were all overcooked. Mine was literally charred black. I took 2 bites and quit. We brought it to the attention of the waitress, who sent over the manager. He was very apologetic and made no excuses. He stated that it was kitchen error and it would be addressed. He comped all 8 steaks. The waitresses and manager were wonderful. The rest of the people had chicken, scallops, and perch. They all said those dishes were very good.We also had several appetizers that were very tasty.

Slow service. Asked for creamer and they told me to go to the lobby of the hotel to get some to go with my coffee? then the lobby worker said no, they’re supposed to give it to you. Then they dramatically come to the table with two handfuls like I was in the wrong for asking. Serves 8 slices of bread and had to ask for jam or jelly. Forgot chocolate chips in pancakes and whip cream. Didn’t come back to our table the entire breakfast. Would have rather spent my money elsewhere.

It wasn’t a bad experience but it was a mood killer. The atmosphere was awkwardly silent and low energy even with the server who was distracted bartending. Later another server came out and tried to help us and had it felt odd going back and forth between the two. It has plenty of food options, no vegan options other than fruit, but the food took forever to come out even though there were only four tables, including us. The food wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t order an avocado toast from there again nor the power bowl. Toast was just bland and old guacamole that did not taste right, plus one poached egg on this huge piece of toast was just sad. The power bowl was watery, far too much, just warmed up the buckwheat in the microwave so it was an odd bowl of extra hot and extra cold yogurt. The only thing we enjoyed was the omelette and the hash browns, which were great. Also, bottomless mimosas just means orange juice here. Maybe we will go back but there are plenty of other amazing places in Madison to go for brunch.

very chill breakfast place with super good food. very classic breakfast menu one of the only places in madison that has both steak with eggs and eggs benedict on the menu lol. the place is super pretty and the view is beautiful and not crowded at all! didn’t even have to wait a to get a table for sunday brunch. One of my favorite places in madison can’t wait to come back.
