I’m big on BBQ , she is definitely the queen .I used to go to another place I’m not going to say names but they don’t have nothing on the BBQ gueen.Been stopping in for years now food so tender and flavorful.You can not not beat the price.Im a plumber that is my favorite lunch spot.

I Stop at this place not expecting much and to honest this place made my whole day!!!, It was really fun talking with the Queen. And when I finally tested the ribs, it was one of the most delicious ribs that I ever had. The experience at the Bar BQ Queen was amazing, the Queen have some homemade spice sauce that should try, I’ll be back soon!!

During the shutdown I decided to go around and find the best BBQ in the area. BBQ Queen takes the pulled pork sandwich award for a few reasons. One, Phyllis, the owner, cook, pit mistress, is wonderful to talk to, two, one sandwich is enough for two people. She even gives two buns. The third is that I do not like vinegar based BBQ sauce, but her hot sauce is the exception, and to say it is hot would be an understatement. Well worth the trip.

I saw the reviews long before our trip and told my wife I wanted to try it. I wanted a real Southern BBQ experience. Once we were there I kind of forgot it was somewhere I wanted to go. We passed it driving to the Jays spring training game, but I didn’t see the building. On the way home my wife suggested we go. We saw the truck at the last moment and we pulled in. As soon as my wife saw it, she said no, we are not eating here. I joked around and whined a little and convinced her it needed to be tried. We went back and bought way too much, but the spare ribs were great. Especially with Queen’s Sweet and Tangy BBQ sauce. It was the end of the day, and the chicken and pulled pork were a little dry, but the sauce and flavour made up for it. The Queen was great to talk to also. Definitely worth trying. I’d rate this 4.5 if that was the rating system.

Definitely the Queen of barbecue, the pork ribs have a crunchy crust and the juicy meat was delicious. My chicken was well cooked, juicy and seasoned. I will return to this place to try the other dishes that it offers. it was really friendly the Queen of Barbecue, thank you very much!

Funny enough, the food was better as leftovers. The ribs were very good, but to be honest, the brisket wasn’t very good at all. It was tough, and likely needed several more hours cook time that day.

The sauces she provides are really good, and I recommend mixing them together.
