Their spice scale is 1-10, and I ordered a 5. Next time I will try a 4, but all was good.
Update. We have been back many times. Always a great experience. Give it a try today. Closed Sundays.
Appetizers – Chicken satey with peanut sauce , they have a new peanut sauce and damn its good better then the old recipe.
Meatballs- Thai style Meatballs , lightly breaded or a pan sear on them but man these are good.
Entrees
Pineapple fried rice – fried rice with chicken and shrimp , Pineapples , onions , bell peppers , eggs toped with cashews , garlic and green onions
A delicious balance of sweat and savory with a hint of good fishy flavor from the shrip not to salty and not to sweet .
Pad woon sen- stir fried glass noodles choose your meat , stir fried bamboo shoots , onions , bell peppers mushrooms , carrots and eggs toped with a bit or fried garlic
I had the beef was real chewy so I’m getting chicken next time But was a good noodle dish , can’t go wroung with the glass noodles good balance of flavors nice and boldly spiced but a nice Suttle garlic flavor cooked with a mildly sweet sauce to balance it out .
Everything was delicious. I will definitely be coming back as often as I can.
To give you an example if you get the tom kah soup and you want tofu instead of the chicken? You are paying for the tofu and the chicken. On top of the price you will be charged 2 extra dollars for the protein you want. To clarify you are paying for the chicken even if you don’t want it in your soup.
Give this place a skip and just go to khao naoi or thai esarn where they don’t pull unethical practices like this.
To respond to the owner’s reply: I was not informed you were charging me 2 dollars extra for the tofu over the phone (you only gave me the total), I would not have gone through my with my order had I known. When I went to your restaurant, I felt pressured to get the food at the point because you already have cooked it. Next time, let your customer know on the phone you charge extra for protein. This is not personal. This just makes your practice less unethical for future customers.
