I stop here whenever I’m passing through the area and I love everything I’ve had. Without realizing it, every single time I at least have gotten the chocolate mousse cake. Great food in a relaxing atmosphere.

This is a lovely spot to pop in for a light lunch or dessert. The outside of it is beautiful and there really isn’t anything remotely nearby that draws inspiration from French food and pastry options the way this place does. I’ve picked up a few items to go and I look forward to returning to try their crepes. I ordered a cappuccino, it wasn’t my preference, I’ll try a regular coffee next time or another beverage. The desserts like Eclair, Paris Brest, Opera Cake, Napoleon, and more look lovely.
We brought a few home for my aunt as well. I tried the linzer cookie, it was delicious, light and chewy. The cookie tasted fresh not stale. I’d love a bit more of the raspberry jam in it but all in all it was very nice. I look forward to visiting again! They accept card and cash.

La Maison Blanche is a hidden treasure along the Chenango River. It has a truly impeccable assortment of classic and contemporary desserts. The mini cakes (petits gâteaux) that I bought for my birthday were each divinely crafted. The chocolate mousse cake was by far my favorite with the rich yet soft melt in the mouth exterior with the sweetness of cake inside. The chocolate ganache cake slice was a bit more firm in texture and a bit less sweet than the chocolate mousse cake, which was a welcome comparison. The napoleon was pillowy, flaky, and perfectly executed with the icing and creme filled layers of pastry. The strawberry shortcake was the perfect balance of blissful berry sweetness and rich decadent cream. I thoroughly enjoyed myself at the cafe. The coffee was strong and aromatic. The crepes with berries and cream were a wonderful treat in the morning. The cream was perfectly offset with the sweetness of the berries. Thank you for such an incredible experience. I will be returning soon.

A gem on the side of the road next to Walmarts and big box stores. Amazing pastries, coffees, and assorted breakfast and brunch options. The croissants are buttery and light and flaky. The savory croissant is very well done, and the chocolate bear claw is nicely proportioned with chocolate.
We got two cappuccinos to go, which is a terrible way to have a cappuccino, so they get a pass on this one being not super amazing but what can you expect in a paper cup!
If you’re traveling through to the lakes or headed south to PA, definitely worth the stop.

A charming cafe overlooking distant hills. The savory dishes are light and tasty. The sweets are much closer to European standards, which is great if you prefer rich and lightly sweetened desserts. A definite gem for any small town.

Absolutely lovely. I had a turkey panini, an apple turnover, and a mouse shaped pastry. All so delicious! This was my first time but it will most definitely not be my last. The view is wonderful, the people are sweet, and the food is amazing. Plus reasonably priced!!

Our little town of Norwich is so lucky to have a bakery of this quality. Their creations are pleasing to the eye and only surpassed by their delicious recipes. It’s always a pleasure to walk in the store and have a pleasant conversation with them. Thank you!

We have been going here on occasion for years now and they never disappoint. They have a great variety of baked goods to choose from on a daily basis, and the seasonally decorated cookies are always a cool treat to give as a gift. We love the quiche and croissant options for a quick on the go breakfast! Friendly staff, and a nice atmosphere.
