As soon as I walked up to Thai Island, I could smell the amazing flavors of the food. The second sign it would be good—right as I walked through the door, a man leaving stopped just to tell me how great the food was. I was greeted with a beautiful smile from the waitress, who let me sit wherever I wanted.
Since it was my first time at a Thai restaurant, ordering was a little hard, but the waitress made a few suggestions. I went with the lunch combination, which came with soup, a main dish, and dessert. For the first time in my life, I ate all my food—it was that good.
From the welcoming atmosphere to the incredible flavors, I’m so glad I came here. I gladly give Thai Island a full 5 stars!

Highly recommend this place!!! We are visiting family from NC & wanted some Thai. For the appetizer we ordered the spring rolls & got Tom Kha Gai. For dinner my wife ordered Pad Thai & I got the Red Curry also we got the ginger tea & it was fabulous will be back

This is a nice, quaint tai restaurant. The music and ambiance is very relaxing. I would definitely recommend the appetizer sampler. You get to try four different appetizer choices with four different sauces. They have a nice variety of Thai entrees to choose from. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

Outstanding service, a dog-friendly patio and most of the menu can be modified to accommodate a vegan diet.
The corn fritter appetizer is unique and very tasty! We also enjoyed a salad and main dish along with a bottle of saki.

The place is kind of OK. Not that great. The ambience is good and service staff are also nice people. This is not a place to go when you are hungry. The first reason being once you place the order, you got to wait a really long time for your food to arrive on your table. Second reason being that almost all the food taste sweet. We were 10 people and ordered different dishes. Every dish tasted sweet. Even the spiciest one. People who don’t eat spicy food might love this place.

The restaurant’s decor echoed a beachy vibe, which harmonized well with its Davis Island location. ️ The atmosphere, while not extraordinary, seemed to capture the essence of the island spirit. Turning to the food, I ordered the Beef Pad Pak, a medley of stir-fried vegetables. The Panang curry is wonderful. The oyster mushroom dish wasn’t much taste though.
Wonderful outside seating – but no indoor seating as of April 2021 – so not much seating! I hope they open indoor soon because I don’t know how they are managing! Photos as of April 2021.

Visited the place on one of their busier nights. The service took time, but the staff was friendly and nice, so didn’t mind the wait. The food was great. We got a seafood Hor Mok and a veggie panang curry with eggplant tempura. The Panang curry with eggplant tempura was delicious. The perfect crunch and I didn’t expect crispy eggplant to go so well with panang curry.
