You can smell the deliciousness as soon as you walk in
I never thought a sandwich and soup shop could be so good! The adult grilled cheese was amazing! Combined with the tomato basil soup of the day was very delicious! The staff was very friendly and super helpful. I didn’t know what to order, and they were super patient as well. Good atmosphere, too.

Give these folks your business! I was here grabbing dinner with coworkers. We came in during a quiet hour for them, so we were the only people there. The chefs Gio(?) and John were so friendly. They gave us a detailed run through of the specials & helped my friend customize her order to suit her dietary restrictions.
The food was so delicious. I did not know soup and a sandwich could hit like this. They also gave us free refills on our iced tea, offered us a refill on the soup, and made great conversation with us. We gave a hefty tip cause we had such a great time, and the chefs were so modest about it. Man, let me show my love! Come visit them, you won’t regret it.

It’s one of the worst places I’ve ever eaten at, incredibly disappointing in contrast to the many positive reviews it has.
Let me talk about the soup. You can just tell from the picture, it’s this lumpy, gloopy abomination. It looks and tastes like it came out of a can. The fact that it was served in a styrofoam bowl just makes the whole thing scream mediocrity. If you were served a soup that looked and tasted like poorly diluted canned soup in a styrofoam container, you can’t help but feel underwhelmed.
Let’s talk about the eggs benedict also pictured here. As you can plainly see, the hollandaise sauce is broken. There’s no excuse for that on its own, but to make matters worse, the poached egg’s yolk wasn’t rich and runny, it was chewy and crumbly, like it was boiled hard.
This place had two chances to impress, and they only made us depressed instead. I think the pictures here speak for themselves. Would you be happy if you were served this? If the answer is yes, Steam & Spoon is right for you.

Visited them for lunch today. The whole experience was amazing from start to finish. The staff (especially Chef Dustin) were all inviting and my food was delicious! I had The Honey Bee and it was to die for. The spicy honey mayo was the best part. I love that they make their own sauces.

What a treat to have this place open up in Beeville. Fantastic staff serving up some wonderful soups and sandwiches. I will highly recommend this place for any and all sandwich lovers. They have all the classic sandwiches, some with a welcoming twist and a few originals. Excellent that they stay open till 8 so you can get lunch or supper.

Tried this establishment for the first time. I was not impressed. Paid over $30 for a lunch for 2 ; for potato soup severed on a paper bowl. They had no sprite, no salads available, no chicken and no cheese cake. So that limited the menu significantly. It’s a shame .. had such high hopes .. that it would be a nice edition for a lunch spot .. will not be back.

I’d been craving a Rueben sandwich and decided to try here and it was the best sandwich I’ve had in years . The broccoli cheddar soup was amazing too . If you are close you won’t be disappointed atmosphere was great too
