For those who see the star I don’t want you to be pushed by that. The food is great. I’ve been coming here now for a while and the food portioning is fair compared to the other locations. Can be a little slow sometimes but the food makes up for it. Doesn’t really matter on the service to me if the food is great as it’s been the last 10 months I’ve been going there. Highly recommend the sweet and spicy chicken w white rice.

Food was okay, not bad, but not great. The service was not good at all. The young man working today around 2:00pm on 12/29 was far from attentive. You could tell he didn’t want to be there.
One thing that stood out the most was when he had my order ready, instead of walking 4 steps to his right to hand it to me, he stood there staring at me and made me walk through a group of parents and their young kids to grab it from him. He had that look like he intentionally was doing that and wanted to inconvenience me.
It really was just the weirdest interaction I’ve had at a fast food place. Didn’t feel welcomed, felt more like a nuisance.

There must be an issue with this location. I LOVE Waba grill and mostly frequent the locations in SoCal. Recently moved to Bakersfield and this location has been really disappointing. I’ve been here a few times and the chicken is always super dry/bland and my bowls are only filled half way. Not sure what’s going on..

Ate there on a Saturday evening, around 5pm and the place was empty which should have been a sign that things were not good. The 4 of us ordered bowls, and the food was served cold. The meat had a strange flavor to it. However, I did like the spicy sauce. The place was dirty, and unkept. It was our first and last time we’ll be eating here.

I don’t know if they are under new management or something but it just seems different. I ordered a brown rice chicken and steak mini bowl and got a tiny bit of meat and a whole bunch of white rice instead of brown and the rice was really soggy. Also, their Waba hot sauce are different. The sauce is not thick like it used to be it seems more runny.
