Ordered on line. When I went to pick up order about 6pm, door was locked and lights were off, although “Open” sing in window was on. Waited about five minutes before giving up. Gave feed back to Firehouse corporate and also called store later. Owner was not there but I left message about issue and phone number. An employee told me they had been having problems with night shift locking the door and not answering. Have contacted Firehouse corporate three times and not heard from owner. If ordering at night, apparently be ready for the door to be locked.
We used to order from this location very regularly. Food was always good as was service. I have not gone back since my order was not filled and issue not resolved.
UPDATE: still not resolved. Firehouse sent an email suggesting to “reescalate” on the account on which the order was placed (order was placed under a different account than mine). The feedback and request for refund was originally made on the account on which the order was placed, so it seems like Firehouse is trying to send me in a circle while trying to placate with words and not really trying to solve the issue. Additionally, the owner failed to respond to Better Business Bureau regarding my request for refund or store credit. Looks like customers and customer service aren’t really that important to Firehouse or the store owner. I enjoyed Firehouse for more than a decade but they have lost a once loyal customer.
UPDATE: I emailed corporate again after still not getting any resolution. Early the next morning the new store manager called me. She apologized, insured me the problem was taken care of and replaced the original order. We have been back several times and the new staff is always friendly and the sandwiches great.
I am leaving this as a one star review hoping that people who see negative reviews will realize this store has really turned it around. They are 5 stars.

Every time I go in there, it’s hand written signs that the bathrooms are out of order. How do you have a sit in restaurant with “out of order restrooms. There were even cardboard signs telling you not to use the trash can up front! I will be forwarding these pictures with time stamps to the health department. How are employees using the restrooms?

Ordered EXTRA pickles for 4 sandwiches. Received 0 pickles total, but paid for them. (sarcastic yay…) Seriously though, who is paying attention to the details in this place? Clearly no one in the shop. The food is good. The staff needs guidance and management. I hate that the customer service is so awful when this is prob the best sandwich shop in this area. I’m hoping my words are received by the owners and they realize what a problem they truly have. Reading other reviews, I know I am not the only person voicing my concerns here. YOU COULD HAVE A BETTER BUSINESS! Just saying…

Today I had the Firehouse Hero and it was excellent and stacked with plenty of meat. The staff were very helpful and offered suggestions as I perused the menu.
For hot subs Firehouse is definitely my go-to spot.

Went there this morning and ordered two large subs with extra ham, cheese, lettuce, onion and tomato with vinegar and oil. Both subs I got only meat in the center of the sub and it was little ham, cheese, a spinkle of lettuce and mayonnaise. We were also the only ones in there…absolutely horrible.

The food was good, but what went over the top was their hospitality. We brought our little kids in (after driving in the car for hours) and they were very accommodating, and gave us fire hats and coloring sheets and little things that really changed our night. Overall, such a great experience. Thank you.

This was my first time at this location I have never been here before. I walked in and there were two women and a man working behind the counter and no one said anything to me so I stood there and waited the line was long I decided to ask if they were taking orders. One of the women in line told me they were behind on catering orders. Then I decided to ask the girl behind the counter if they were taking orders and she said they were behind on their catering orders and said with an attitude that if I was listening to her when she talked to the other woman in line I would have known that. But her conversation with the woman in line wasn’t out loud so how was I supposed to know. I ended up wasting 15mins and no one greeted me nor said it will be a moment. I don’t know where the manager was but I left out the door and could hear the associate behind the counter say something smart as I left. I’m pretty sure it doesn’t take 3 people to do a catering order when you have 5 customers trying to place an order and not being acknowledged or helped. This was the worst location of firehouse sub, and the most disrespectful I’ve ever been to. I will not be back and I will make sure no one else comes back that ask about a firehouse sub in Maumelle AR/ North Little Rock, Arkansas.
