Fast and friendly, everything I ordered was fabulous.

Not pleased at all.
My second visit , I ordered 4 crab cakes, and two shrimp baskets, twelve oysters and two banana pudding.
I had to delete the crab cakes because I refused to pay the crab cake basket price for just the crab cakes. I presented the associate a picture of your website and your menu. The associate said that corporate needed to update the website.
I will not frequent skrimp shack again.

My family and I visited this location a few days ago and we all agree, the food is outstanding.
As soon as you walk in, you get a warm sense of the restaurant. Menus are on boards for you to easily read and the service was very pleasant.
As a matter of fact, everyone who we interacted with, was nice to talk to. They treated us like old friends.
Finally, there is additional seats with a nice window views of downtown Hopewell.

If you are looking for fried fish, this is your place. Excellent service, I had a basket with shrimp and catfish, served with cole slaw, tartar and cocktail sauce. I have to say that I did not enjoy the sauces, but you don’t need them, the fish is better plain without them. Good seasoning, deep fried…enjoy with the cole slaw, maybe some lemon. Good prices. I will come back.

We went to the Skrimp Shack on Saturday. There were a few people eating in the sit down area of the restaurant, which is nicely decorated. They have the menu written up on the wall as well as menus you can take with you. I will be adding the menu later. I got the shrimp and flounder basket with hushpuppies, and he got the shrimp and catfish po boy with hushpuppies. The food took about 10 minutes to come out as it’s all cooked fresh to order, so there may be a bit of a wait during lunch and dinner rush. They brought it to our table for us. The food itself was phenomenal, the shrimp, flounder, and catfish cooked to perfection. I half expect rubbery fishy shrimp when I order out somewhere, but this shrimp was fresh and had the perfect texture. The Skrimp Shack has tarter and cocktail sauce manufactured for them specifically and it shows. They taste homemade.

Me and my wife decide to get some lunch form here. The fish and shrimp was over cooked and it taste like it was cooked with old cooking oil. We couldn’t finish our lunch. This will be out 1st and last visit here.

The fish sandwich is just insane. I got the whiting, which is like 6 pieces of fish. I’m a huge mass of a man, and I struggled to finish it. Perfectly crispy and fried delicious. Also got the roasted corn to go with it which had onions and bacon in it, and I was in love. Here’s a spoon to compare the sandwich size. My favorite fish sandwich around.

The two people serving me were polite and very helpful with all my questions and special needs. The food was prepared very quickly. Faster than any typical burger place. The food was fresh and perfectly cook. It was a delight to eat. I can recomend the Hopewell Skrimp Shack for some yummy comfort food without reservation!

Hush puppies sucks but that fried shrimp basket be on point. Pricey of-course but worth the size of the shrimp. I do not recommend their tartar sauce at all. Fries are usually good when fresh. Friendly staff and spot looks kept cleaned.
