So, had to try one of the newest Mexican restaurants in town. With them just opening, decor/atmosphere is up and coming, I hope. By recommendation, the hubby ordered the Pizza Birria and I got the Camarones à la Diablo since I love spicy foods. Cooked to order was fine and the wait was not long. Mine had the perfect heat kick and was impressed it was served with home made tortillas. The flavor of the meat in the Pizza Birria was spot on! The flavor was just perfectly balanced not needing any of the dipping sauces offered. If you want something more authentic, definitely try this place out. Added plus, their new market side is growing and can’t wait until they get fully stocked. Going to come back to try other items on the menu.

we had lunch today and it was a delightful surprise to find such a delicious, authentic Mexican restaurant with reasonable prices. they had menudo, street tacos and more. They even offer homemade tortias if you ask. It appears to be family owned. The restaurant is on one side and grocery store with Mexican snacks / seasonings/ spices/ produce on the other. The entire place (including bathroom) looks as bright, clean and spotless as a doctor’s office. The service was good. But in the tradition of ethnic restaurants, they dont rush you out after your meal so you have to let them know you’re ready to pay. We definitely look forward to trying more items.

We had the carne asada nachos and the Cuban torta. Both were incredibly flavorful and were large portions. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is friendly. We will definitely be back.

La Jefa Mexican Restaurant never disappoints. Every time I come in, the service is amazing—friendly, welcoming, and consistent. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with care. As a picky eater, I truly appreciate how they go above and beyond to make sure my food is made exactly right without ever making it feel like an inconvenience.

Another huge plus is how convenient it is that they have a store with produce. It’s perfect for picking up groceries and authentic Mexican products that you won’t find at most other grocery stores. It makes stopping in even more worth it.

The first time I went the food was good and I wouldn’t complain about it the 2 last times I went the food was just bad and probably the worse Mexican food I had gotten for a while. I got a burrito supreme. There was nothing supreme about it. I especially got it with chorizo. It tasted like it only had tomatoes, bell peppers, and onions it had no flavor. It was just full of red sauce they literally gave me tortilla with red sauce inside with vegetable it was the worst burrito I ever had and then one day my parents went and got one of their special plates I Forgot The Name, but the fish was spoiled and it tasted like days old. It wasn’t even seasoned. I would never come back here there’s nothing aesthetic about the food and I’m a proud Mexican myself.

My burrito was under cooked. The waitress only came out once. The beer was hot. Ask someone to get our waitress several times so we could pay our ticket and leave, it still took forever. It was only us two in there. $40 for lunch to leave hungry and have to go somewhere else to eat. The atmosphere is very nice it was just cold inside. Hopefully things pick up
