Hands down has to be one of the top 5 dining facilities in the entire Air Force. The staff is great, the food options are great. They have everything from a salad to mid to higher end foods. They keep it clean and organized. Everything about it is great for lunch.

As a U.S. army member this is probably one of the best dining facilities I’ve ever been to. The food is on point and the service is fast I’m in and out in 15 minutes… after sitting and eat too. Would recommend.

Great place to eat as a civilian! Low prices and very healthy food options and even a world food option where you can get food from other cultures. I was most impressed with the price. My meal (with water) was under five bucks! You can’t beat that nowadays! Dining facility is huge and it’s very close to the fitness center. They also have a grill if you want a Philly Cheesesteak or burger.

The facility was clean and cashier was nice. A coworker and I had burgers and they were too salty. My coworker asked for sweet potato fries and got regular fries I wanted regular fries and all they had left was sweet potato fries. After we left I heard 2 other ladies talking about how salty the burgers were also. The buns were a little hard too.

First, they have started to allow civilian workers on base to get food from the facility again. My husband brought me there and I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness, assortment of everything from fresh fruits, vegetables, breads, salads, to all around home cooked meals. All at a very affordable price. My only complaint is with Mediterranean short order counter, is the gentleman working it the previous evening seemed very underwhelmed and would not communicate so we ended up with raw vegetables in our Alfredo tortellini dish. (A quick blanche would have helped so the vegetables would not be raw in the dish.) Other than that my husband and I will be back for future meals and we would recommend any other people on Eglin AFB to go there as well.

It’s an on base mess hall. But it’s really good! We choose it over the restaurants in both exchanges on base, not just for price, but for quality. There is always the grill, sandwich shop, and salad bar, but also two stations of rotating entrees, one American and one international. I’ve never been disappointed in the food, and I’ve always been happy with the price.
