It’s one of Sioux City’s favorite bakeries. The aroma of frosting and fresh baked cookies and cakes linger in the air. If sniffing the air counted as calorie intake, we’d all be in trouble. I crave their decorated cookies. The flavor of the surgar cookie and the almond frosting makes them my favorite of all time. Take a look at some of the fun decorated cookies. Sugar shack comes up with the most adorable cookies. They make wedding cakes and birthday cakes. Cakes for any special occasions. Got a couple cupcakes for my son’s Birthday, one Oreo and one Strawberry. I didn’t try the Oreo but the strawberry one was really good, the frosting was a pleasant surprise, not sure how to describe it but it was definitely homemade and delicious.

I ordered 3 dozen custom cupcakes for my daughter’s 1st birthday party and I just want to give a special thanks to The Sugar Shack Bakery for absolutely over-exceeding my expectations.
These cupcakes were beautifully made, from the appearance all the way down to the taste. I normally bake my own goods but I wanted these to be perfect for the party and they were.
The vanilla cupcakes were light and fluffy while the chocolate was rich and spongy. The icing was sweet, but not TOO sweet. I could taste hints of almond extract and thought it was truly a genius flavor combination with the traditional vanilla & chocolate.
