Went late night on a Friday. Wasn’t hardly anyone in there so we had the buffet to ourselves. The food was good and fresh. They continued to bring out new/hot food even know there wasn’t many people there. Service was just fine. Would definitely go back again if I am in the area!

Went just yesterday. Loved this place before covid but they were only open for takeout a long time after. Now the inside is open but they didn’t even have all their buffet tables full. Very disappointed. At least ten items that we like as a family were missing. What we did get tasted good except the banana pudding. The pudding was spoiled. They were also out of ice cream and did not put out more till we were leaving. Definitely not worth the price.

So grateful to have yall as an option in Kenton! Had lunch with my mom and everything was fresh and delicious everyone was kind and polite. Lots of choices in the buffet area and you can even order anything off their menu if you don’t want the buffet. I recommend going around the time they open. Everything was guaranteed fresh.

Royal Buffet in Kenton, Ohio has seriously gone downhill. The food was bad, tasted old, and definitely not worth the price. On top of that, the restaurant smelled like wet dog, which made the whole experience unpleasant from the moment we walked in.
The service should have been much better — staff seemed inattentive, and the overall experience felt rushed and careless. The prices are way too high, especially considering there’s barely any variety anymore.
What’s most disappointing is that this place used to be good. They got rid of a lot of the food options people actually liked, and now it’s nothing like how it used to be or how a buffet is supposed to be.
I wouldn’t recommend this place unless they seriously improve the food, service, cleanliness, and bring back the variety they used to have.

Go in and ask for “The Cream of Sum Yung Guy”….. It’s off menu, but they’ll know what you’re talking about… It’s a delicacy and not often ordered….

I really enjoyed this buffet. The food that was supposed to be warm was warm. The cold food was cold. It was all delicious. Overall, I really enjoyed eating here. Service was a little slow, I think the waitress forgot about me for a few minutes, but the food made up for that lack.

I have always loved the decor and it’s been the same for so long it’s basically nostalgic at the point. Glad the food quality improved dramatically because we hadn’t been here in years. The service staff were very accommodating and happy to see us or make more of any dish we desired (quantities were low because it was getting close to closing time and they were slow) we will be back.
